After seeing only like one active thread here, I thought that another one would do nicely.

BACKSTORY

The year is 300 A.C, but not the AC as we know it. It stands for 'after Crusade'.
300 years ago a galactic war of catastrophical scale had broken out, it was a campaigned started by the Emperor Bane of the Solarian Empire. Its objective was to rid of the non imperialists from their galaxy. Many decided to surrender and become under imperialist rule, but some refused and managed to resist for a bit. Yet the overwhelming power of the Solarians broke through their hopeless defences. Eventually the Solarian Empire became the biggest force in the universe, its terriotry extending from one galaxy to another. In total, 3 galaxies are under their control.

It is now 300 ac, there has been 10 years of peace so far, after 290 years of continous war. The Imperialists have gathered up many new fleets, they have recruited many armies and they have just finished their preparations for a second crusade. Having heard the reports, every neighbouring powers ready themselves for anything. Not even their allies were safe against them, since even one ally soldier's mistake could have been taken into account as treachery.
It is now 300 AC, the silence is over. It is time to brace the storm.

Factions
Solarian empire and their colonies and allies- fashions the biggest fleets and armies to exist in history. They are under an iron fist rule, every citizen or soldier are loyal to the empire. Currently under the rule of Emperor Leon, a humanoid of the Justicar family. Their weaponery are mostly ion or plasma based.
Republic of Rivier- Is quite near to Imperial terrioty. Under the rule of President Alpha V, a Doomsday Mech. It is a relatively peaceful place, but will be prepared to defend its freedom no matter the cost. They are the most advanced as far as technology goes, yet has a quite small army. They believe quality can beat quantity. Half of their militarical force are AI. Nevertheless all sorts of races inhabit here. The republic is made up of 10 very largo solar systems and few small ones.
Outlaws, bounty hunters and vigilantes- no need for description. Republic of Rivier seems to hire them quite oftenly for jobs outside their territory. On the other hand the Solarians hate them, see them as criminals and such.

Races
Humaoids- no explanation needed.

AI- Machines have managed to develope their own minds by now. Most live peacefully with living organisms. There are many types of them, but the most well known ones are the Doomsday and harbringers. Doomsday have a similar body structure as humans, but are much stronger and bit bigger. Their appearance can only be described as a metallic knight. Harbringers can come in many different appearances, but they all hover and are very slim.

Shadows- They are AI, but have been classified as their own class. The middle boundary of machine and human, they have succesfully copied every aspect of the human body. They are not made of metal plates, wires or cables. But made of artificial cells, which are actually nano super computers. They look exactly like human, they feel like humans. They have flesh, organs, blood and bones, even though they have no need for organs and blood. The thing that separates them from normal AI is that they can learn and adapt in a very frightening speed, they need no upgrades or repairs.
Only 3 exist in the empire and 5 in the republic. A major disadvantage is that they are specialized to do a job, a hacker shadow cannot fight properly. A fighter shadow cannot hack or pilot properly and such. Most of them are naturally obedient and would never question authority, but exception comes to combat models. The developers had to give them more freedom with their emotions for them to release anger for combat, unless they wouldnt fight efficiently. All will have control leashes on their necks.

Specialties:torture/fighting. he can use almost any object around him as a weapon/torture device he uses a heavy assult ion rifle and a large baonet (SP?) about the size of your forarm
Background: once one of the Solarian Empire cruelest fighters. he is willing to kill just to kill and comets extreame acts many consider inhuman (even if he isent human) he has a problem with orders due to the fact that he can feel emotions he is easily angered and has killed many CO's just because they pissed him off. the reason thr Solarian Empire hasent had him killed is his skill in torture he has been able to make even the strongest willed of people cry like newborns. however of late he has become aloof avoiding most cantact with anyone he has also stoped enjoying torture and killing the reason is because on a reacent mission he was sint in to eliminate a small villige said to hold enemy wounded he was able to slaughter most of the villige but when he came to a hut that held a small child he couldent bring himself to kill it beta had never experianced the emotion of guilt and regret but when he saw the child huddled up in a corner crying he bagane to feel such emotions and is begining to question his loyalty to the Solarian Empire

Apearance: long unkept orange hair, tail (cone-ish and smooth like a newt tail but is flesh colored), Feral eyes, ussually, long nails, brown combat boots, torn shorts, ripped shirt (sleeves and mid-drift section ripped off).
Specialties: Lilith has inhuman strenth. She also knows medical scinence and robotic systems, not enough to heal or repair but to make a kill as fast or as slow as she wants. He owns a huge warhammer with a one-shot gernade launcher made into it.
Backround: Lilith's parents were a human and an anthros, and as they say: born of both, hated by both. She doesn't remember her parents, and never had anyone else she could call a parent. The earliest she rememberes is when she was five, using her animal instincts to steal the day's meal. She literally never owned anything at all until she became a bounty hunter at age 15. She'll take any job, and most likly level a city block in the process. She feels no loyalty in this upcoming war, she has only ever felt rancor malice and despair.

Specialties:Comanding fleets and flying fighters to prepare the land forces for the invasion. Can also use a Assault rifle.
Background: Glavien, a former General of the Amarrian army is now the Vice Grand Commander of the Solarian Empire. He plans to lead the invasion into Amarrian space as he knows where all the bases are. The whole reason why he defected is because the Ammarian leaders bannished him. No one really knows why he was bannished.

Appearance:short Dark brown hair, green eyes, white skin and is rather slim, yet has a good build. He is 184 cm tall, wears the standard imperial justicate (officer for the armed land forces) uniform. It is mainly black with red outlines.
Specialties:A very talented fighter and a tactician. He has been trained with fire arms combat, close combat and knows a lot about strategies and tactics for ground forces.
Background: The Justicate of the Reaper squad of the 120 battalion of the Kanaf system. He has dealt with many uprisings and rebellions in this system. His past is shrouded and he says it is unimportant to the duties he has to do for the emperor. He has been a part of the military forces since he was 15, his first combat was at the 3 year campaign against some anthros at a near by system.
His squad consists of 20 highly trained troops. 15 are mechs, 3 are human and 2 are anthros. All from the same planet.
His sucess with crushing rebellions captured the eyes of his superiors, and he is speaken of quite highly by his comrades.

Appearance: Wears regular army suit, except for a big skull sign in his chest (like the SS emblem) and on his helmet. Brown hair, eyes of the same color. A bit pale.
Specialties: Expert hacker, good sniper, average with other weapons and piloting.
Background: "The Empire needs you!" they said, so Matt joined. After the regular training, his habilities with the sniper rifle and hacking became obvious, so he joined a commando team. Yet, his suicidal impulses risked many mission and caused the death of many of his comrades, and he was sentenced to death. A superior noted that he could be still be usefull, so he was recruited into a newly-formed team, the Death-hand, wich were sent in whenever it was too dangerous for the regular army, or impossible for the commandos to do a stealth attack. With his habilities and being almost oblivious to death, Matt soon became respected along the other "Death-hand" groups.

At the massive senate hall of the peaceful planet of Cardes, a meeting was being held, its results would decide upon war or peace. Representitives from each factions gathered and sat, the tension was almost unbearable for most.
There were 12 representitives from Rivier, 4 from the Cylus (faction consisting mostly of anthros), 5 from Terra, 3 from the Imperial side and many others were there.
This was broadcast live to each system, noone wanted the war to start up again, especially after 10 years of peace and tranquility.
In the end, it would be inevitable. Each factions were hastly gathering their defences, citizens in a silence of terror accross the galaxies. Except the Imperialists, they were prepared for war.

My idea for the mech-thing is a body similar to that of a Blood Asp from Mech Assault 2, minus the spikey PPCs.

It would have 8 shoulder mounted missles, 4 each in a square shaped missle-bank where the shoulder-PPCs would be. On it's arms where it's hands would be, it'd have 2 heavy lasers each. and on it's body on the left part of it's waist, it would have 3 machine-guns, a barrel each.

Here's a pic of the Blood Asp. I'll make a white line where a fully grown 6 foot man would stand compared to that thing.

Faction: None
Sahagins are a quite numerous, but relatively unknown since few leave their home systems. This because they are amphibian, and the air has to be pretty humid for them to breath.Their home systems are all very swampy planets and as such they are perfectly adapted to the surroundings there.
they have fin-like spines on their lower arms and two on their backs. Those spines can be set up and folded to the body at will. Their toes are webbed but their fingers are not, instead they have claws that once were used for climbing the large magrove trees of their homeworld.
Sahagins generally have a very slim build that betrays their actual power, and are very proud of their traditons and heritage, nonetheless most are peaceful and open to any race or faction.


Appearance: Kly is constantly wearing a breath mask that obscures the lower half of his face, he can breath without it, but its difficult and strenous for him. His skin color is a muted green and his eyes are completely yellow. They're usually covered behind streamlined black protective goggles. He wears jumpsuits usually, but can also be seen in long coats. The multitude of greyish tentacles coming out of his head are kept in a kinf of ponytail, coming down to a little lower than his shoulders.

Specialities: Kly is a master in the traditional combat techniques of his race, which include martial arts but are mostly about handling a pair of close-combat weapons they call Zafal Taki. Essentially they look like nightsticks/tonfas with long blades at the end closest to the handle. He modified his own so that they electrocute with each hit.
He's also received extensive espionage and firearms training, but he really prefers hit-and-run close combat attacks.

Background:
Kly is a member of a secret organisation called "The Cosmic Hand". It could be called a intergalactic crime organisation, but the members would oppose to that. While they do not care about the rules and laws of any government they do obey their own strict Codex. They control 60% of the illegal technology and narcotics market of the known universe. However, due to their Codex they oppose any war, even though their weapon smuggling and similar activities would only benefit from a war.They can be compared to a very honorful Yakuza-type organisation.
When Kly was 11 his parents died in a spacecraft accident, leaving him stranded on the Rivier Republic Capitol.
He lived on the streets until a Doomsday Android working for the Cosmic Hand took him in.
Eventually Kly joined himself, after his mentor died in an attack by a rivalling crime organisation. He rose through the ranks very quickly and is now assigned to the most important assassination, bodyguard or espionage missions only.

Specialties: swordsmanship (juyo mastery(Star Wars lightsaber form), proficient in makashi (another Lightsaber form), but his sword is not designed for Makashi), marksmanship (he prefers his blade though)
Background: Xaris is a wanderer. when he turned 17, a natural disaster on his home planet desroyed his home and killed his family. ever since he wandered the galaxy, working as a mercenary and helping those in need.

i can see a little bit of Kit Fisto (green skinned amphibian-humanoid Jedi with his own chapter of Clone Wars) in that character too. i can see this is going to be an interesting role play since we can take elements from our favorate sci-fis. i personally chose for my character to fight with two different lightsaber forms.

Fine, I'll find a picture of a Cougar mech, it's a smaller version of the Blood Asp size wise. If my mech idea is rejected however, I'll be a zealot or dark-templar like dude.

EDIT: On second though, screw the mechs. I'll take an Elemental power armor, it's the thing hanging off the plane in the picture. It has an armament of a laser, and 2 missiles. (Lasers recharge, and missles can be restocked at the next place that has missiles if we're using the ammo rule) It's like, maybe 3/4 of a foot taller than a fully grown man at the very most, so not that big at all.

Sitting next to Jonathan((I'll edit this if you aren't at the meeting)), Glavien was looking around at all the diffrent Factions. He was actually looking for the Amarr Empire representitives. He saw them.

"See those guys?" Glav((pronounced Glaive)) pointed to the Amarr Faction. "They're the Amarr. Be sure to take notice that they vote for war. They have many planets with surplus armies that they can send at any time." Glavien pulled out a laser pointer. when on it showed the symbol of his Squad when he worked for the Amarrians. He shined it on the Amarr's hand. His eyes grew wide. The Amarrian pulled back his hand and took a deep breath. Glavien turned off the lase pointer.

Lilith watched as she squated on her perch. She made sure she was out of sight, if there is anything she learned in the 5 years of bounty hunting on a Solarian planet it to "keep one's head down". Being well know can include people who don't like you, she made sure she was only really ever heard of by the right people. But she lacked subtlety, her adrenaline highs were annoyingly easy to trigger. She wan't there on a job, assassination missions just get you killed. This was bound to turn into a gigantic mess and was a perfect chance to get on the good side of some important people.

Xaris was in his hotel's gym praticeing his swordplay with the gym's training robot. he was practicing the one handed makashi style, but the robot didnt give him enough of a challenge. he held the wooden sword out in front of him in a stance similar to a fencing stance. as he was fighting he noticed that some of the other people in the gym were watching the faction meeting, Xaris, distracted, let down his guard and the training robot knocked him on the ground. "Activate shut down proceedures," he said as he stood up. he continued watching the meeting.

Kly was standing a bit off from the represantives of the factions, his face hidden behind dark glasses and the shadow of a column. He was pretending to be one of the bodyguards for the people of the Rivier Government and was wearing the same perfectly tailored black suits and ties.
It took quite some bribery for him to get into the personal bodyguard and so he would do his best to overhear every single word that would be spoken there in case it might be of value to his superiors.


Nonetheless his face looked completely listless.

beta waited silintly in his room he new soon the meeting would be over and once agian a war would start. he was tired of war he used to injoy the screams of his victoms but, now he finds no pleasure in such things. he was a member of the Reaper squad of the 120 battalion who were ready for deployment. his higher ups put him in the unit because they thought it would reactivate his bloodlust and teach him some respect to his CO's manly because the squads leader was the only man beta would take orders from without killing him after that. beta dident want to fight he remembered the child as it screamed as he killed his parents and how he couldent bring himself to kill a mear child he'd done it hundreds of times yet he couldent kill this child. so beta waited for the order to kill agian he wanted to enjoy it agian but he was tired and he dident want to fight

Matt stood there, looking at all those politicians. What were they talking about? He didnt quite remember it. He was assigned to control everything, armed only with a handgun and a stunstick. Bah, what could possibly go wrong? This was just another of those boring politic meeting about something or other. Matt guessed if anything interesting could happen, so he could get some action. The other security guards were just that, mere security guards. It was strange that they ordered him, a top-of-the-line suicidal soldier to guard that place. And the guards were not even under his direct command. Matt started to look at the people there. Then at his feet. Then he started walking around, looking for any excuses to turn this meeting into something more interesting.

Glavien called over to Matt. Matt walked over.
"As you probally know, I'm Glavien Darkstar, and I've got something for you to do. If the vote is cast and we do actualy goto war, then I want you to capture the politicians. Yes, it is a dirty trick, but its gonna be war anyway. Get as many guards as you know to follow my orders."

[Monoxx]

"Uh, yeah, sir." So big badass-looking guy orders Matt to do something. "I hope I get to kill something, cause Im getting really bored..." Matt said, while walking to the nearest guard. "You, cannon fodder, come with me. Where is your superior? Big boss wants us to take care of a job..."
The guard told Mat where the superior was, and the ignored him. "Meh, whatever" Matt said, loudly, walking to the superior.

Johnathan, as a representitive for his home system, sat on his chair and gazed upon the hologramic screen in front of him.
He didnt really like it when a representitive speaking just happens to be about 50 meters from you. The gargantuous and magnificent hall was 150 meters tall and couple of hundred wide. Just enough to fit all the representitives from major systems. Each faction were on a hovering observatory, which were supported by metal bars and such as well for safety. There were rear entrances as well, just in case people needed to go out or come in during the meeting.(think what the central senate building thing looked like in ep 3 and 2 in corusant)

"THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!!! Attacking small and defenceless systems? What you are doing is breaking every universal rights and law there existed! This is not a just war, you are invading people's and machine's rights and this is just the beggining of it!"
The vice president of Rivier, Hadel, an bear anthro from the capital, was speaking at the top of his voice now.

Johnathan sat back in his chair and sighed, he leaned towards glav and said
"This is pointless and meaningless, the emperor will go to war whatever the senate's opinion is. Take my place for a moment, all my notes and files are on that computer. Im going for a walk."
Johnathan quickly left his seat before any other faction's members notices and exited. The Imperial guardsmen, three of them, accompanied him as he walked out the long corridor, they stopped at the end of the corridor and walked back towards the obsorvatory.
As he took the long jounrey down the elevator, away from the meeting hall, he looked at his wrist watch. Only one more hour left till the meeting ends.
He lit a cigarrete and leaned himself on the nearest wall. As he looked around, there werent anyone there, this would be a nice place to waste an hour in.

[Monoxx]

"Okay, did you hear me?" Matt asked the guard. "As soon as this turns into hell, capture all diplomats. I'll have to make sure all our talking guys are within the safe perimeter, and all that stuff. I dont feel like being punished for this".
Matt walked to where the other guards were, and saw some of them loading their weapons. He also saw a couple of commandos (survivors of his former team) hiding between some diplomats. "Meh, those guys always get the big kills" he said, as he walked outside. He saw a couple of humans talking with eachother, and when he passed by, they looked at him, shuting up. He looked at them, ignored them, and continued to walk. "Uh, big watching place." He saw the observatory, and some of the guards inside it. "Yo, what are ya doing?" He didnt see the Solarian officer with them.

Johnathan noticed matt talking to the guards, weird seeing a lone solarian soldier. Only guards ever walked alone for patroling here.
He pushed himself from the wall and approached Matt and tapped him in the shoulder.
"Hey, what's your squad name and battalion name?"

[Monoxx]

Matt turned around, and looked at him. He looked important or something, so Matt talked with respect. "Say what? Oh, Im from the Death-Hand, Im kinda here for security or something, didnt pay too much attention during the briefing. And you? Whats up with ya? You got some nice clothes."

[wolfdemon]

"I'm a chief Justicate from the Trident system, the name's Johnathan, Johnathan Lenos. I'm meant to be speaking in there, but I'm not much of apolitical speaker. Death hand operatives arent meant to be near here, you guys arent even meant to be in the building yet. Who's orders you taking?"
John checked the logs on his small wrist computer, nope, nothing about authorization of deathhand operatives from his sector.

Lilith felt the sentiment of the people here, they all knew this was pointless. War was inescapable, a boon in bounty hunting will come with it. She thought of this grimly; more money ment more danger. She didn't want any more danger and she didn't need alot of money. All she needed was food to eat, clothes to wear, and somewhere to sleep. Hell, she only really needed was something to eat. But what she wanted was acceptance, this was her chance. This would decide who her clientel is for the war.

Sitting in the chamber Glavien wondered how many people were in this meeting and knew that war was going to break out. Glavien leaned forward and started sifting through the files that were on Jonathans computer. Alot of it was just plans for after the meeting, which planets to attack, wh to lead the invasions, etc...
"This so boring," Glav looked at the watch "ONLY 15 MINUTES HAVE GONE BY?"

[Monoxx]

"Uh? Oh, big guy who is talking is ordering me. Glev or something. Im here as part of the security, neways. Im supossed to warn important people that as soon as the war is declared, I will be happy and we will capture and kill a lot of people. And you said my mates will be coming in later? They always steal my kills..."

[Raldios]

Partialy asleep, Glavien was listyening to the meeting. Hadel was shouting about how we were attacking again.
"DID I MENTION HOW THE EMPIRE WA-"
"Thank you Hadel, we will have to start the vote now to keep to our schedules"
"Heh, If this goes as planned, you will never keep to your schedules," Glavien picked up his voter and pushed declare war. He pushed Declare war for Jonathan too.
"He got up and started walking ot where Jonathan was,"

Lilith heard talking down the hall, one of them a Cheif Justice. She heard something about the other guy not being authorized to be here and him complaining about people punking his kills. Well he was certainly was going to be trouble, anyway she saw it Lilith knew that was the guy to follow.

"Not on my watch soldier. Get your sqaudron and get back to the ships. I'll be talking to Glav when he comes out. Tell all the marines the kidnaps will have to be cancled. This is not our territory yet, we have to play by their rules for the time being."
Johnathan whipped out a small phone from his pocket, then dialed a series of numbers.
"Chief Justicate Lenos here. Whatever them lot have in mind, tell em that its not happening. The emperor would not agree on such treachery. We'd rather let them escape today and confront them in battle tomorrow."

beta squinted as the door opened. and officer threw a bag on his lap. Comeon beta its time to work. beta sighed and got up
"youll be boarding a transport ship heading to the front lines"
"so what do I do"

When Kly realised the senate meeting didn't have the slightest chance of changing the minds of the Imperium he had left his position, following the Imperial representatives instead.
He sticked far enough behind not to noticed, more than 50 metres, and casually leaned against the same railing as Johnathon, far to his right.

His sensible ears still overtook their conversation because of the little amplifier-buttons in his ears.
What they said sounded very interesting, but also unnerving.
He was thankful for the retractable electro-baton hidden in his left sleeve when he thought of the possibility of a military unit raiding this building.
Nonetheless he regretted not to have brought more weapons with him.

[Monoxx]

Matt walked over to the guards. "Yo, cancel the killing stuff. It seems it would be bad or something. Just do your regular boring job. And someone call the Death-hand unit, tell them not to come." Matt walked away, to where the representatives were. "I hate this, they only talk and talk and talk and talk. I need some action, whether they agree or not." He pressed a button on his stun-stick, and holded it like a baseball bat, looking at the representatives. "Just gimme a reason..."

[Raldios]

"I'm sorry about what I did Jon, I'll be leaving now. Tell me how it turns out," Glavien pulled out a communicator "Ready my ship, ETA 5 minutes,"

The fishy alien watched Matt from the corner of his eyes, still obscured by his dark shades.
He snorted dismissively.
'And such psychotic buffoons the Empire hires as their special operatives...', he thought to himself.
Tightening his black tie he raised himself from his position leaning on the railing and turned around, walking towards Matt.
He stopped about 4 metres to his left, with both hands in his pockets.
Looking only at the represantives in the hall he said quite easily audible:
"What a bunch of futiles. Only thing they can do is talk!"

...maybe he could get something out of this one, if he started a conversation.

[Monoxx]

"Uh? Yo. Yeah, all they do is talking. Everyone knows that war will continue, why wont they let me to smash their heads open right now? Like if they stand a chance.." Matt looked at the newly-arrived. So this talky-talky person was bored of talking too. Figures.

[Raldios]

Glavien stoped, he turned around.
"You think all I do is talk?!" Glavien's voice was raised from his normal one. "I've lead numerous battles for the Empire and all I have won! Don' say anything if you don't know who your talking about,"

[Monoxx]

"Im not talking to ya. Please some privacy. And if you are so mighty, let me take 'em down!" Matt said to his superior. Why did he interrupt his discussion with someone who thinks just like him?

[Raldios]

"Eh, I get mad when people discriminate "us", as in the representitives. I'm actualy only a representitive because I'm a High ranking officer. If I had my way, I'd be with my fleet right now, ready for my orders to attack."

"Of course you would. 'Seems the emperor thinks you'd better be here tho.", Kly answered, still just as calm as before.
He wondered wether he maybe went too far, provoking him.
He didnt really think that guy'd be stupid enough to tell just HOW important he was, but he was indeed getting a little fed up with this mission. There was nothing important going on in this meeting, his presence was of no use for the Cosmic Hand.

He turned around, heading for the exit, telling the other two: "Anyway, this is of no use..."
As he went he made a kind of sloppy salute as a goodbye.

"Yo, wait" said Matt, following our fishy friend. "You cant leave, Im supossed to make sure everyone stays here 'till they stop talking." Matt looked at the stranger. "Stay and stuff. I wont get punished for no shit happening here."

beta reached inside his hulster and loaded his sidearm on the transport he had been breifed he was to torture the senaters for information although they would not be captured inside the building on their way home their ships would be intercepted. this was to be his base of opporations. just as he finished loading his pistol he saw Johnathan Lenos his CO pass by he gave a salute out of respect and fear

Appearance: Wears a suit that looks similar to the MechWarrior's in Mech Assault 2, but Green for the main color and Purple for the elctronic glowie stuff, without the helmet. He is six feet and 3 inches tall, and athletic. He is well muscled, but not like some Arnold-on-steroids kinda guy, more above averagely.
Specialties: Can pilot an extensive variety of "Mechs, Powered-Armor, and other vehicles
Background: He lived a normal life, working as a freelance mechanic before the war broke out when he was 20. He was forced to fix and build machines for the Solarian side of the battle until the truce came a few years later. He appears to be an Empire symapthizer, but looks can be decieving.

Will thought back to when he met the Imperial idiot at the bar earlier...

He was just minding his own business when a man walked next to him, "Hey, you wouldn't happen to be the owner of that power-armor out there would you?" Will was asked.

He crossed his arms, looked up from his drink and said in a serious tone, "It's not for sale." almost immediately after he heard the question.

"No, I don't want to buy it. I'm just wondering if you'd like to use it to... help the winning side of the war" At this, Will was interested.

"Keep talkin..."

"I'm an Imperial Commando, and I don't think this truce will last much longer. I'm looking for some experienced people to come with me on a mission."

Will looked at him, faking an expression as if he was pondering over the idea, "You got yourself a man. Why not get all your friends together and we can meet up back here tommorow." Will finished his water, and tossed some money on to the counter next to his cup. Walking out the door, he looked back and said "Keep the change.", before stepping into his Elemetal power-suit and jump-jetting from rooftop to rooftop back to a nearby garage, using the claw on the armor's left arm to latch on to higher buildings.

"Heh, idiot." he thought as he made some tune ups to the 7 foot tall suit of metal and energy.

This Matt guy was something else. If he was this psycotic outside of battle, she coulding imagine him when his adrenaline gets pumping. And he just suggested "some guy" for a high commander's retinue. Lilith came out from the shadows, "So you looking for anyone else looking for a fight?" This guy was lilith's ticket to making a diffrence in this war.

"Uh. Yes! I need someone for this. Why? Interested?" Matt asked. So good so far he tought later I have to take the squad to check that armor guy... for some reason they dont let me recruit anymore. Assholes. Anyway, this makes the team. "Can ya fight?"

Lilith swung her warhammer into the wall, leaving a hude dent, "Alderan's most feared bounty hunter, I always need a few skulls to crack," that should get her hired.

[Monoxx]

"Cool. Look, I have to go to check something out with my team. Come to my place at 9:00 GTS, and we'll go to the mission. And if anyone asks, you are a militar. And dont screw anything, because I would kill ya faster than a little kid." Matt said, giving her his adress. He then looked, the alien had vanished. Meh, he walked towards the Death-hand HQ.

[Mr.McSpiff]

Will looked up from the cot he fell asleep on in the garage he kept his armor in. The digital clock read 8:37.

"I'd better get to the bar where I said i'd meet up with the idiot. They won't know what hit 'em." Will put on his pilot suit (the one that he always wears that looks like the MechWarriors gear from MA2:Lone Wolf), and walked out of the door of the garage.

"It should be a 15 minute walk from here to there, so I should have enough time to wake up and get some coffee or something," he thought tiredly.

(Yes, I am making the bar serve coffee. It is a beverage correct?)

Lilith was already waiting at the bar, she had nothing better to do. She squated on one of the stools at the bar, the bartender was staring at her, "I'll kill you."
He stoped staring at her.

[Mr.McSpiff]

Will walked into the bar and looked down at the woman who just threatened the bartender. He ignored it like it was a common occurance.

The pilot would've sat down by now, but there was one problem, "You're in my spot." Will said simply, unmoving.

[King]

Lilith turned to see a mech. She sort of liked mechs, they never noticed that hybrids were a despised breed, they didn't jugde her like others most of the time. She grunted in acknowledgement, and moved to the stool to the left.

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Thank you." Will said as he sat down where Lilith was before. "Bartender ginving you trouble eh?" He smirked and chuckled, "Don't worry, he's like that with every woman he meets. Oh, nice tail by the way." He turned to the aforementioned bartender, "Water."

(By the way, he's not a mech/cyborg/thatkindadude. He's a normal guy with tons of mechanic and piloting experience who customized his own suit of Power-Armor.)

((Well he looks cyborg, and most humans are freaked out by her apearence so she made an assumption))
"He wasn't looking at me like that."

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Ah well everyone goofs up, anyways, I'm Will. Oh, and I'm not a cyborg or mech-person or anything like that if you're wondering, it's just this pilot suit."

"I thought they armored the ships, not the pilots. Lilith is my name," huh, this one seems nice, not like the other ones.

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Lilith," Will nodded, "nice name. I noticed people were giving you funny looks before, I don't see why. Only thing I see that comes close to a reason is that you aren't completely human, and that has a snowball's chance in h*** of mattering in the long run."

[King]

"This is why they stare," Lilith said pointing out her tail, he must be a dence one, "after twenty years one gets used to it."

[Mr.McSpiff]

"So what? You have a trait that's given to you by birth big whoop." Will took a swig of his water. "I've seen plenty of Anthros do what they chose to do, and they were d*** good at it too." He paused, "Just because you're different looking doesn't mean you need to be stared at."

Lilith sighed, this was the first time she ever had to explain what she was to someone, "Anthros have fur, I do not. One of my parents was a human, that's a very big no-no in alot of cultures. I'm guilty of just being born," her voice was low, she was feeling depressed again.

The confrence was over.
The descision has been made. Every representitives hurridly made their way to their transports, and took off as soon as possible.
Every system watching the broadcast were in shock, it was an obvious descision but war was still horrifying.

Johnathan boarded the imperial transport ship, the imperial people were the only calm ones there.
"Send signal to every imperial staff on this system, tell them we're moving back to the capital fleets. Tell them to get to their ships in 30 minutes or we're leaving them behind."

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Errr... Pulling foot out of mouth now..." Will thought he was prying a bit much, and turned back to his water. "Still doesn't mean you need to be treated differently than anyone else." He muttered darkly.

[Raldios]

Glavien Walked into the bar at around 9:30 GTS.
"How long have you guys been here? I thought I was early," Glav sat down next to will "I assume you were recruited by Matt," Glav asked "Well we got 30 minutes too wait for matt or else were gonna have to leave without him."

[King]

"Matt said he would be here at nine, where is that psyco?"

[Raldios]

((pause time people, for monoxx to post))

[Mr.McSpiff]

"I don't know where he is, but I'm getting pretty bored." Will drank the last of his water, "If he doesn't get here soon you might lose yourself a good pilot and a suit of power armor."

(Monoxx's offline, so we might have to wait a bit.)

[Monoxx]

Matt arrived at the bar, followed by three men.
Those men were wearing a uniform similar to Matts, but looked less... crazy.
"Yo! Sorry I'm late, I had to get the mob toghether"
"Shut up. Unit 1-02 called us, he said there was a pilot we could recruit for the squad. Where is him?" asked one of the men, ranked as Matts superior.
"Uh, yeah. 'bout that, to make this more.. official, I called em to recruit mister mecha there. We're kinda short of manpower. It should only take a few minutes"

The superior looked at Glav and said "Sir, if you excuse us, the reest of the squad is waiting in an abandoned building near here. We must take this man to test him, should take less than 10 minutes." "Yeah, and I should stay here and see what I am doing here anyway" said Matt.

[Raldios]

"Doesn't matter to me, be back before 9:50 or else were leaving without you." Glav looked at matt "Ask all the questions you need to know about the mission"

[Monoxx]

"Cool. I made a list: 1- What am I doing here? and 2- Will I get to kill stuff?"

[King]

"Matt said I could join the squad too," she wondered how the officer would react, she's never heard of a hybrid in any army and her torn outfit wasn't anything close to military issue.

[Mr.McSpiff]

'Why do I get the feeling I'll have to answer rediculous questions with no relevence to this, and some other useless c***..." Will said as he stood up and turned to face Matt.

[Monoxx]

"Just follow them. No idea what they will ask, I kinda 'created' the group" Matt said.
The other men were already leaving. "Hurry up, noobie"

[Mr.McSpiff]

Will walked past Matt and towards the leaving soldiers. "What irrelevant recruitment c*** will I be subject to once we all get to where we're going?"

[Raldios]

"One, Were invading mu former sides territory, and two, F*** yea. These guys bannished me for doing what I thought was right." Glav told matt "And be sure to shout 'Tyu tsuy Kilom uqe Fragen!' Its Amarrian for 'For the Green Dragon'. The Green Dragon was my squad when I was the Amarrians. Anything else?"

[Monoxx]

"Yeah. I will kill 'em, but I wont shout 'Afgre Cthulhu F'thag' while doing it. Can I kill someone meanwhile? Im really bored..."

Meanwhile, walking outside, the 3 men were being followed by Will. "No recuitment crap, soldier. And show some respect for your soon-to-be superiors. The quick recruitment course is very easy, inside that building -the man pointed at a big, old bulding- we got 10 men hiding. Using combat-simulator lasers, you must take them down before they kill you. The piloting test will be done later, as all our ships are deployed."

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Alright, but if a few are dead or have serious injuries, remember that it was your fault for not telling me to keep them alive." With that said, the pilot walked into the building wit a serious look on his face.

After moving for about 2 minutes, Will felt metal press against his head, and saw a man with an energy pistol walk up to him. "Looks like we caught you already. I expected more of a challenge from you, now hands up!"

Will brought his hands up, but as soon as they were level to his head, they shot out and grabbed the arm holding the gun to his head. He threw his weight forward, the momentum breaking the arm of the man behind him, and carrying him into the person in front of him. "Nice try." He said as he grabbed the gun that flew up into the air.

Will pointed the pistol at the fallen weapon on the ground and shot, destroying it. He then turned over to make sure both soldiers were incapacitated before continuing on.

Looking at his watch "9:45, they better hurry up or your squad isn't going to be with you during this. By the way, first were going to be in space ships, so you know how to fly a fighter? I fly an Amarrian Executioner, favorite ship for me."

[King]

Lilith lept into an open second floor window. She was good at sniffing people out. She looked around and saw that no one was in the room, so she walked into the hallway. Then she heard some odd but familiar sounds, some one was in the vents. She took her warhammer and smashed the ceiling, the vent and a soldier collapsed through the ceiling.
Distraught, he looked around to see what the hell happened. He saw some sort of bipedal that didn't look like anything he's seen before. It grabbed him by the neck with its tail and lifted him off the ground, he felt terror as he stared into its feral eyes.
"Where is you're friends?"

[Mr.McSpiff]

Will punched another soldier so hard that his neck snapped. "Let's see, so far I got five of them..." The weary pilot looked at the two corpses near him, "Wonder if Lilith got the rest." Will said as he stepped into the next room.

He saw a figure in military clothing walk towards him from about 10 feet away. "You've gotten this far. I'm impressed." He stopped in front of Will, "But it doesn't matter, there won't be any of you left to recruit when I'm done." With that, the man rushed at Will, punching him in the gut and knocking him back. The pilot responded to this by kicking him in the face...

(I'm assuming Me and The King in Yellow were put in the same building with the 10 guys, but in different places. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm also expecting my guy to beaten to a pulp, but saved by lilith for some reason... wierd.)

[Raldios]

"Well, we should be going now its 9:50, I would wait but all the ships are leaving at 10:00." Glavien got up and started walking out the door. When he got outside he turned right to the shipyard where hes supposed to go.

[King]

Lilith was heading to the last soldier, the leader. They all were so eager to to tell her what she wanted to know, she didn't even have to ruff 'em up, some interrogation training this army is giving out. Lilith was pretty sure that the female soldier pissed herself. Lilith had a toothy grin, she always said: if one couldn't be loved, settle for being feared.

[Mr.McSpiff]

Will was being held up by his throat, unable to move, barely able to breath. He saw a familliar figure walk through the door, Lilith! "I could use a hand here!" he rasped, as struggled against the soldier strangling him.

[wolfdemon]

Johnathan stood by the bridge of the Solarian battlecruiser, The Blade. It was a newly built battlecruiser, it could have 40 fighters on board, 80 standard Solarian ion tanks and atleast 300 soldiers. It was designed for space superiority, not transporting. Armed with the best weaponery the empire has to offer, such as ion cannons, plasma beams and countless torpedos. It was the fastest middle weight cruiser the empire had. It was smaller than other middle class cruisers, but it was the fastest and the most effective in space combat.
Johnathan picked up the communication device and alerted all the people left in the planet.
"This is the last transmission to personnels to board their ships and return to the fleet. The fleet will be making the warp jump in approximately 20 minutes. All ships should take off by 10.00."

[Raldios]

Walking toward his capital ship with matt folowing him Glavien looked at his watch again. His watch read 9:55. Matt and Glav finally reached the capital ship. They took an elevator that was connected to the ship temperarily.(sp?)
"Fancy ship," Matt complimented
"Why thank you," Glavien responded
"This is the last transmission to personnels to board their ships and return to the fleet. The fleet will be making the warp jump in approximately 20 minutes. All ships should take off by 10:00." Jonathan radioed
"I'm in the elevator of the Blade right now. See you in 5 minutes,"

[wolfdemon]

"Affirmative. Make sure everyone's on board. I dont want inspectors from the capital finding couple of our personnel missing. That'd be embarrasing."

[Raldios]

"Actualy, we probally are going to have some missing. I told them to regroup with me at 9:50 its now 9:59 with no sign from them. If we have some missing, then I'll just say that they can't even come to a place by a certain time."

[wolfdemon]

"As soon as you reach the bridge or the hangar, we'll begin the preparations for the jouney. Report back when you reached the hangar or the barracks. Either works. Lenos out."
He put down the communicating device and began to stride slowly towards his sector. War. No more fighting rebels, even though the rebels were tough, they were too repetitive. Now they would fight real armies and fleets.
War.

[Monoxx]

"Damn, I hope the rest of the Death-Hands make it to their ships. Still we could kill this whole planet with only a stun-stick if we felt like it. Where are the two noobies? I want to kill something NOW!" said Matt, setting on his stun-stick and looking at the civilians around. "Can I?"

[Raldios]

"Not yet," Glavien Responded "Not yet Once we set off we can. Anyways, I don't want anyone under my command who can't keep to a schedule"

[Monoxx]

"Stupid rules. We're at war! There are no civilians in war, just targets! And they are standing there, looking at us!" Matt was angry. He wanted blood, and the two "noobies" were nowhere to be seen.

[Mr.McSpiff]

(As you probably already know, The KIY and I are still in the recruitment building thing, so don't leave without us.)

((McSpiff this was enough time to let you post, so I'm going to post to advance the story.))

Glavien got out of the elevator and was walking through the Hangar to another one that could goto the bridge. Glav pulled out his Radio.
"Lenos, I'm in the Hangar right now, walking toward the elevator that takes me to the bridge. Start taking off now." As Glavien was walking through the hangar everyone one of the soldiers that saw him stood straight and saluted him. Anyone who didn't see Glavien was nudged and then stood straight and saluted.
"At ease!" Glavien shouted in the large echoey hangar. The soldiers returned to their work.

[Mr.McSpiff]

(I'm waiting for the King In Yellow to post still! As i am currently being choked by a mega-soldier and against controlling other people's characters. If he doesn't post in a while thought, then I'll just go on my own.)

"Yo, Gluv right? when do I get to kill things? I want to kill something. Dont you have any spare soldiers?" Matt was angry. Stupid noobies! They probably messed everything up. Now he would never kill anything. At least not in the next 5 minutes.

[Raldios]

"Its Glavien!" a soldier behind Matt shouted
"Yea it is Glavien, and don't be so impatient you have about 2 hours before you can kill something." We have to hyperdrive to another Galaxy. By the way, The Galaxy name is EVE and the place we are going to be attacking has this system called 'Choncord'. It was created to keep peace within their galaxy. Which is one of the reasons why the EVE faction, including the Amarr, Caldari, Minmatarr(sp?), and the Galentine, voted for war. If they get attacked they have Choncord to back them up. So its like fighting two armies. Its why they sent us, were the best of the Solarean Army."

[Monoxx]

"Damn right I'm the best! Still, I cant wait. Where do you get a drink around here?"

[Raldios]

Walking into the elevator Matt followed him.
The bar is one floor above Recreation room is one level above the bridge. You can do Karoke and get a drink there." Glavien pushed the button that said level 500 on it, then the button 501.
"Ship taking off, no one enter the elevators that exit the ship." The speaker boomed.

Lilith saw (what's McSpiff's guy's name?) getting his ass handed to him. She brandished her warhammer and got the soldier's attention. The soldier pointed his gun at her and laughed, "gun beats hammer." She laughed and shot the gernade launcher bulit into the hammer at him, "gernade beats bullet."

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Ah jeez..." Will said before he was blown back by the grenade's explosion. "Ow ow ouchie... ow." Will rushed toward the soldier, firing a burst of three shots from his reobtained rifle, and injuring the man. Lilith then finsihed him off by smashing half of his bones into each other with her hammer.

"Lil, I saw a radio on his belt before..." Will said as he walked toward the man and rummaged through his belt, picking up a small black comm-device. "Here we go." He fiddled with a few buttons, switching the frequency to Matt's radio. "Matt, it's me Will. Lilith and I finally finished our little challenge. Tell whoever your commanding officer is wherever you are to wait for us if you're on the ground still. If you already took off, tell them that we'll try to find a ship or something to get to you with. Will out."

The injured pilot put the radio on his belt, before the pain of his broken ribs hit him like a brick. "That grenade must've cracked a few bones or something, but I'm okay don't worry." Will hought he heard Lilith mutter something about men being too macho for their own good.

He turned to fully face his savior. 'I just want to say... ah. I just- I guess I'm trying to thank you for helping m-," Will felt as if he was a boy in highschool asking a girl on a date, "Ah screw it, I've never been good talking to women... or thanking people... or any kind of social activities for that matter... shutting up now."

[Monoxx]

Matt was drunk and singing karaoke in front of lots of amused soldiers when he got that call. "Welcome to the Jungle! We've got fun and.... Uh? What? Who? When? Oh. as Glavian's ship was launching.
Xaris was late for his ship. he had just made it to the hanger when he saw the doors closing and the speaker announcing the launch. he ran full speed to the loading elevator, he jumped through the matenance hatch on the top and started climbing. just as he made into the ship, the doors closed and the ship launched.

"Just made it," Xaris said to himself. he then saw some patrols in Imperial uniforms. Xaris had boarded the wrong ship. he drew his sword expecting to have to fight. his juyo style was very effective against multiple opponants, which i shwat he expected. Xaris decided to head to the ships bar, as he would fit in with all the mercs there.

"Gluuvi? Oh you must mean Commander Glavien," The soldier pulled out his radio, and radioed to Glav "Commander Glavien, Err...A Death-Hand soldier by the name of err..."
"MATT!" Matt shouted
"Matt, he wants to see you, He's very drunk so it would be better to have you come down."
"Very well, see you in a minute," Glavien replied. Glavien got up out his throne seat and walked to the elevator, he got in and pushed the button 501. When he walked out he could tell matt was drunk, as he was on the floor.
"Hello?"

Xaris sheathed his sword as he walked into the bar. he saw Matt laying on the ground and Glavian walking towards him. Xaris apporched Matt and offered his assistance. even if he was trying to go un noticed, his honor wouldnt let him ignore someone laying on the floor.

Lilith reloaded her warhammer, "some armor, can't even stop a simple HE 'nade. Let's go, there's a job to be done," she said and tapped Will's armor over the rip area.

"Hello! Glaven! My old friend! I love you so much! You're always there for me! Anyway, are we flying already, because that guy and that girl called me telling me.... telling me... they called me telling me that they finished and they wanted to join us! HEY! HEY YOU! -said Matt looking at a random soldier- Who do you think you are! Come here! I'll show you some respect! No one sees Gluver likes that!" Matt then saw some strange man entering the bar, and said "Hey! Come here! Lets sing some karaoke!"

"please, no thank you." Xaris responded. may i help you up sir?" he had his hand on his sword in case he had to fight. he could never be too careful against a drunk soldier.

"Well they're too late, Were flying and I can't really stop ship in the air." Glavien saw the strange man and didn't recognise him. His clothes didn't even look familiar. "You there! Name and Rank soldier,"((as in Xaris))

[Mr.McSpiff]

(He was the super soldier dude remember? He pulled a frikkin Arnold and held me up by the throat with one hand. That, and I think they'd've given him good armor.)

"Right." Will said as he followed Lilith out of the building. "I should go to my garage first, I have to get my armor."

As he walked out of the garage in his Elemental power-armor, he continued following Lilith. He then turned to her and whispered to her through the external comm so no one else could hear, "What would you do, if I told you that I didn't believe in the Empire? If I told you that I don't think the Solarians are the right people to side with?"

Xaris, thinking fast responded "im a merc, sir. i dont have a rank."

"Did you only get half of my command? Name please, we have all mercenarys and soldiers on file,"

[Monoxx]

"I cant feel my legs! Where is that radio...." said Matt. "Oh! Found it. Armor dude, armor dude, can you hear me? We're flying! You need a ship!" Matt then, still at the floor, grabbed the nearest bottle and started drinking again. "Who's up for some fighting! I know I am!"

[Mr.McSpiff]

Will heard Matt over the radio of his suit and sighed, "Yes Matt, I figured. We're gonna try and find a ship to get to you guys."

"I'm not sure who's side I want to be on, I picked the first chance I got, I can do alot of damage to either side from the postion I'm about to get. Do you have a ship or are we going to have to borrow one?"

using Matt's challenge as an excuse, Xaris responded "want me to knock him out sir?" he was ready to draw his sword.

[Monoxx]

"Hey! Gluv! I think he is the other guy I recruited yesterday!" said Matt, looking at the swordman and thinking it was the mecha guy. "Hes not registered, but I could take him out!" he added, aiming at him with a bottle, thinking it was a gun.

[Raldios]

"So you were just talking to this guy who didn't have his radio out a few seconds ago, when this guy was in the room?"

Xaris knocked the bottle out of Mattt's hand with his sword and the bottle crashed into the wall and broke. "you said you wanted to fight, now draw a real weapon."

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Lilith," Will said quietly, "I'm an undercover agent of the Republic of Rivier. I was supposed to get as many allies and as much information as I could and get out." He stopped walking, "You can do two things: You can help me get a ship, and come with me to the Rivier base." The pilot took a deep breath, "Or you can incapacitate me, get a ship, take me to the Solarian ship, and reveal me as a traitior." Will got out of his armor and held his arms at his sides. "Your choice."

[Monoxx]

"Yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah" said Matt, getting up. He then stared at the man. "No weapons, I fight like a real man!" he said, throwing a punch at him and failing by 3 meters, almost hitting a soldier.

[Raldios]

"Hey hey hey! We won't have any fights on this ship. Sheath your sword."

Xaris sheathed his sword, and went into the makashi stance. it may have been a sword style, but he knew how to use it as an un-armed stance. Xaris swung a punch at Matt.

"what's the Republic like? Is there a place for something like me in it?"

"The Republic accepts anyone willing to help them. They don't care if you were a hobo on the street, or a general from the Empire. As long as you can prove you aren't a spy. It doesn't matter if you're a 4 eyed 1 armed winged fish-person, or an armless lizard." Will took a breath and look back up at the woman in front of him, "Your choice Lilith, help me." His expression was stotic, "Or have me killed."

"Eh, oh well..." Glavien took a seat behind him and watched the fight. When Glavien sat down and kicked his feet up the soldiers knew he was cool with the fight.
"Go matt!" a soldier shouted
"Samurai dude is gonan win!" another shouted

Matt looked at Xarias prepared for his final fatality attack, and then he felt to the floor. "Medic! Im shot! Im shot! I need another drink!"
"I'll kick your ass in a second, I need another drink."

Xaris decided to ignore this drunk man. he sat down at the bar and said "get me a nice bottle of sake." he paused "and a beer for my friend there" he pointed to Matt.

The whole room burst into laughter. Glavien smiled at Matt.

drinking his sake, Xaris said. "of course, if he wants to try insulting me again, i wont sheath my sword. and he WILL be dead."

"Well, I don't belive you. You don't seem like you are a sociologist. But, there's a chance you could be right, I know what's waiting for me back home," she put her hand forward for a handshake, "But if anyone gets to kill Matt it's me. Now let's get on that ship."

Xaris tossed Matt the beer he ordered for him. "there, now shut up." he turned to Glavian. "where do the mercs sleep?"

Will took her hand and shook it firmly. "We'll get the the ship, go to the Solarian ship, do what we need to do, and get back to the Rivier base on (insert planet name here)."

Will climbed back into the power-armor, and said over the external comm, "Don't worry, they'll accept you. And if they don't, well then they lost themselves a d*** good pilot." He looked around. "Let's hurry, I have the feeling something related to the Empire might've heard us.

Glav pointed to the elevator "Floor 300, just go into the elevator and ask the person at the desk on 300,"

A soldier helped him up to a chair and gave him a microphone.
"I choose this one!" Matt pointed to the screen. The soldier chose it and Big letters showed it was "My humps"

Xaris noticed this and walked over and unplugged the machine. "ugh, if that song from that underdeveloped world wasnt enough..."

Matt realized what song he selected. "Man, even I know that is a bad idea. But what the hell!" Matt started drinking his new beer, dancing around. Soldiers were laughing, not with him, but at him, and some started yelling "Matt! Matt! Matt! Hump!", making it easier for Glav and Xaris to have a more private conversation.
He didnt realize the machine was off.

Lilith saw someone get out of his ship (it's like the jaguar of shapships), "Hey I need a ship."
"That's nice, I need 800,000 credits."
"Yeah, for the hospital bill."
"Wha-" Lilith then slammed her warhammer over his dome, "let's go."

"Boy," Will said as he walked aboard the ship and moved to the cargo hold. He got out of his armor and walked back to Lilith, "subtlety is one thing you haven't heard of."

He walked over to the pilot's chair, and sat down in it, relishing the feel of leather against his back. "Nice ship... wonder what kind of shields it has, what sort of weapons it has and how good they are, and... what we should name it..."

"The ship is swag, you don't name swag, you use it then lose it. This type of ship is for speed not combat."

Xaris walked back to the bar and continued drinking his sake. he could hear Matt singing worse tahn any drunk man he had ever heard. whats worse is that since the machine was off, he had memorized the song. Xaris was ready to draw his sword and kill Matt on the spot. he was relieved that Glavian stopped hammering him with questions.

Realising he should be getting back to the bridge Glavien got up and started walking toward the elevator. And got in and went one level down.

"Can we go now? I've got a passable living space to get to."

Matt stopped singing. He looked at Xaris and said "dude, Im wasted. Take me to my room please?" and then he felt, unconcious.

Xaris finished his sake and started walking to the elevator to head to some random merc's room. the soldiers were still laughing their asses off. he figured he'd play along until he could get off the ship. stepped into the same elevator as Galvian and pressed the 300 button.

"I was waiting for you to kick my a** outta the pilot seat and take us to the Imp-ship. But if you won't..." Will activated the comma and set up a frequency with the nearby Imperial ship. "Imperial vessel, this is the Icarus. We are the two recruits you may or may not have been informed of. We have aquired a ship and are requesting permission to land, Icarus out." Will shut off the channel and turned to Lilith, smiling smugly. "Oops, I think I named the ship."

Glavien had pressed the 501 button second so he had to wait for 401 floors before he could go to 501. Matt followed Xaris in.
"so, whats your name? So I could actualy call you something,"

Lilith sighed again, "I'm not a pilot. Today is the first day I've been in a ship."

"it doesnt matter," Xaris replied. "but one question, if someone were to board this ship by mistake, what would their punishment be?"

[Monoxx]

Matt didnt know where he was. He heard some loud voices near him. "I want the upper bed!" he said, almost as a reflex.

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Ah," Will said, "well now this soon-to-be Rivier vessel is now the Icarus, under MY command." He said to Lilith. He then spun back around in the chair. "Ensign," he stated in a mock captain voice, "get in that co-pilot chair!"

Age: Forgotten, but he has seen the last century and it's changes.

Race: Humanoid
Faction: Owtlaw
Appearance: He wears a brown hooded robe that he rarely takes down. When he does, he appears to be a normal human, with a few exceptions. Though he is relatively young for his people, he has aged beyond his years by the troubles caused. He has white hair that is slightly past shoulder length, appears to others as a 60 year old human, and a pair of dark glasses covering his eyes. Those who have seen his eyes would say they are sharp and piercing, as if he is gazing into your mind. They appear to beplane white, but closer inspection reveals them to have narrow pupils. He always wears something of a scarf over hs mouth. What could he be hiding behind it…
Specialties: He is adept at unarmed fighting, along with polearms, staves, and his own unique blade that seems to be made of pure energy and well hidden in his robes. He is also excellent at stealth, and none can hear his footsteps even when he is not trying to sneak by. It is almost as if he glides above the ground. He also has latent, untrained psychic abilities that do him more harm than good.
Background: He is not one to dwell on his past. He is from a planet once called Tomea, but it has since been taken by the Solarians. The elevator suddenly stopped, and two figures were standing by the elevator doors.
"Fastest way off is... through the garbage chutes. You will be disintegrated by the many incinerators and compressed into tiny cubes. Then you will be shot into the space. Have I misheard or is there a drifter on the ship?"
By the doors were Johnathan Lenos, and his personal assistant that rarely spoke to anyone else.
Johnathan was in his uniform, with his plasma pistols at his belt, the assistant was holding his rapier with two hands.
"Miss Rean, have you finished maintaining my rapier?"
"Yes m'lord."
She passed it to johnathan and he clipped it to his belt.
"So Glav, is there anything you want to tell me?"

"Well, this guy is a mercenary apparently hired by Matt R." pointing to matt on the ground, Turning to Xaris "What was your name again?"

[Mr.McSpiff]

Will looked to Lilith and laughed. "I'm just messin' around." He looked to the comm again and muttered, "Why aren't they answering..." Will switched on the comm device, and again set it to the Imperial ship's frequency.

"Imperial vessel, this is the Icarus. We are the "recruits" you may or may not have been informed of by Matt R. and his superior. We are requesting permission to land, Icarus out." He switched off the comm and said annoyed, "If they don't answer now, I think we should just head back to the Republic base."

[wolfdemon]

"Matt R? To what I know, he has no authority to hire anyone. Wait a mo..."
He picked up his phone.
"Justicate Lenos here, what? Ship asking for docking? It seems someone doesnt know what he can and cant do... Get that ship on hold, tell em to drift by the docking area, but dont let them enter. I have to have a word with Matt R first."
He put the phone back into his pocket, then once again turned to look at Glav, the merc and the drunken man.
"Hmm... merc, give me a good reason to let you stay on my ship."

[Mr.McSpiff]

Will saw the comm blinking, "That would probably be them..." He said as he turned to activate it. "Imperial vessel, we are recieving your hail."

He looked at Lilith and said, "I wonder why it took two tries for them to answer..."

[Monoxx]

Matt got up. "Uh.. Where am I? Where is my bed? The last thing I remember was hump s.. oh crap." He looked around and saw the guy who was talking the day before, the guy who told him to follow him and another guy he didnt remember at all. "Matt... reporting to duty.. my head is killing me..."

[King]

"whatever, let's go."

[wolfdemon]

"I presumer that you are Matt. I hear that you recruitede three people, is that correct?"

Meanwhile, the landing docks workers sent a transmission to Icarus the following message
'Icarus, it is a no-go for your landing. Please return to your planet or feel free to drift beside the vessel."

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Boy, you are impatient." Will sighed, "Look, I want to get in and out of that ship as fast as possible too, but I also don't want to be blown into space!" He looked back out towards the ship.

"One wrong move could be mistaken by them as a threat, and no doubt they have weapons bigger than this pile of aluminum foil. I don't want those weapons fired at us!" Will looked at Lilith again and yelled "I'd prefer to get away from this d*** place, and back to the Rivier base so I can do some good in this f***ing war!"

As he was yelling, Will heard the message from the Imperial ship. He switched on the comm, and in a suprisingly calm voice said, "Copy that, we'll follow along with you until you say otherwise, Icarus out." He switched off the comm and moved the ship beside the Imperial vessel at a steady pace.

"What? Yes. I recruited a couple of guys.. why?" Matt said. He now started to remember.... "Damn, I need a beer."

"Matt, are you aware of your rank and what a person of that rank can and cannot do? Only a respective officer can recruit someone. This action can be taken in as a very ignorant and stupid one, one that which will effect your resume and such. Plus, you do know the Empire's attitude towards mercenaries and bounty hunters... Miss Rean, please tell Matt the usual procedure after such actions commited."
The assistant got out her Imperial handbook, and began to read off something
"The soldier responsible shall be punished or pardoned with a condition, all descisions made by the commanding Justicate or another respective officer. The drifters will be executed if the same Justicate or commanding officer do not see them fit. Justicate Lenos, 4 turrets are in range of the drifting ship and..."
Suddenly she whipped out her pistol and pointed at the merc's neck.
"execution preparation complete. What is your order m'lord?"
"Let's hear what this drifter and Matt has to say for themselves first..."

[Mr.McSpiff]

As the turrets locked onto the ship (That's what the mention of the turrets in your last post was right Wolfdemon?), Will bolted up, "What in the nine h***s!?" He tapped on the controls, "This thing only has class 2 light shields. They sould be enough to get us out of here with only a little bit of damage if they decide to fire." Will said as he brought them up.

The confused pilot opened a channel with the Solarian ship, "Imperial ship, what the f*** is going on!? We are not hostile, I repeat we are not hostile!"

[Monoxx]

"Look, mister. You wont kill me, you already tried one time, and I was recruited into the Death hands in exchange. Im the second in command there, so I can perfectly recruit people in, and if they are here it means that they passed the test. And will I have that beer or what?" Matt looked at the gun. "Now cut the crap and let 'em in. Maybe they will pay for the beer if you wont. Oh! And I recruited them because Gluvi here told me to"

beta was inside his room aboard the blade he wasent really a combat soldier so he wasent prepearing for battle. He opened up his trunk and pulled out a bag labled "CHIMECALS" and another labbled "ELECTRICT DEVISE INSIDE" he started puting his multiple torture devises together. when he was finished he went up to the bridge he wanted to talk to lenos, although Lenos was his superior he thought of him as a brother but he's never told anyone encluding Lenos.

"What? I told you to bring 4 other people that were MILITARY!" Glavien shouted

[Monoxx]

"And I recruited them to the Death-hand. Quid quo pro. Now why wont anyone give me a damn beer? Soldier! -said Matt, pointing at a random soldier- Give me a beer!"

[wolfdemon]

"Listen Matt, and listen closely. None of the death hands are authorized to recruit non military personnel into their squads! In addition as a soldier of the empire, you would know our attitude towards these low lives. But for the moment, I'll let them live."
At those last words, Rean whipped her pistol back into its holster.
"I shall be speaking to the shipmaster and warmaster of this ship about this, if they want them gone, you and they will be out of this ship. You understand me?"
Johnathan was holding the sheathed rapier towards Matt's torso, jabbing him with it as he spoke out the words of the last sentence.
He took his leave soon after, the assistant followed. She always followed him around everywhere but the battlefields since the day she was on the job.

At the same moment, the four turrets went back to their stand by positions and the shield and the gates by the hangar doors opened, allowing the Icarus to come in and land.

Glavien saw John walk out of the room. Glavien returned to his seat at the center of the bridge. When he sat down he said.
"I want the crew embers from the Icarus escorted to the bridge as soon as they get on."

"hey you" Xaris said to John, drawing his sword. "i see your blade and i want to see how you fight." Xaris could tell there was something special about John, he just needed to hear his reaction to the challenge to be sure.

"Justicate sir requesting five men to aid in information extraction"

[Monoxx]

"Bah. We've been recruiting non-military member for years. In fact, unit 1 and myself must be the only military members now..." said Matt. He then looked at John leaving. Screw him. Politicians. He looked at Glave and said "I'll go to recieve them. Tell a couple of these men to escort me. I dont know where the stupid hangar is and I dont want to get lost because last time...."

[Cloud3514]

Xaris noticed that John was ignoring him and he sheathed his sword. "i guess i was wrong about him." he said as he headed to this floor's desk and asked for a room. i'll have to think of something tomarrow Xaris thought, i cant stay on this ship forever.

[Mr.McSpiff]

Will brought the Icarus in for a landing and sighed in relief, "Thought we might have to be sent to the Republic base in the form of ceramic urns for a minute." He got up, walked past the ship's only other occupant, and opened the door the Icarus's main airlock... to find a trio of Imperial soldiers outside. "If this is about me swearing over the comm channel, it was just because I was so suprised that we were being locked on to by the turrets..."

The leader of the group looked up at him and said, "We've been ordered to escort you and any partners you have in here to the bridge."

The pilot looked back at Lilith, then toward the soldiers again, "Well, take us away boys."

Lilith looked around as she was escorted to the bridge, the ship was really nice. She could really get used to something like this.

[Mr.McSpiff]

"When I get my hands on that no good abandoning son of a... " muttered Will angrily. "So when do we get to the bridge, and when do I get to throtle Matt?"

[wolfdemon]

"Beta, the marines will handle the extraction. Just look for any suspicious acts commited by those drifters... I never trusted mercs and I never will. I'm heading to the bridge to speak with the shipmaster first."

[King]

They got to the bridge hatch, Lilith took a deep breath; this is it, this will decide where she stands in the war. Matt was insane and Will seemed... dence, but whoever she's reporting to now should know exactly what she is. Now she will see if the loath of hybrids was planetary or was of the whole empire.

[Mr.McSpiff]

Will took a deep breath as they were escorted to the bridge, "If anything goes wrong," he thought "I'm hauling both our a**es outta here." Then, the door opened...

[Raldios]

"I assume you are from the ship 'Icarus'," Glavien got up and turned to the direction of Will and Lilith. Glavien noticed Lilith's tail and pointed.
"You have a tail..?"

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Yes," Will said cutting in, "we were the ones on the Icarus." The pilot had a thoughtful look on his face, "Have any spare parts I could modify the ship with?"

[Monoxx]

Matt looked at them. "Finaly! You guys made it!" he then turned to Glav. "See? If they are here is because they passed the test. Or killed all my teammates, wich would be impossible. So they are in the military now! Looks like our team is complete!". Matt than walked to the elevator and asked "Where is the bar? We need to celebrate this!"

[Mr.McSpiff]

Will looked at Matt and chuckled at his obvious stupidity. "Weeell... the leader and a few others may have to be marked as MIA to keep the families from going ballistic..." he looked back at Glavien, expecting him to say something.

Xaris couldnt sleep. he got out of bed and walked onto the elevator and pressed the 500 button. he figured another drink wouldnt hurt.

"yes sir" beta saluted and a small noise sounded

and beta seemed to diapear in reality a camras on beta's back and front projected it on his skin and as beta was not really humen he could change his skin at will

Lilith scowled at Will, he ment well but she wasn't prone to forgive. To hide what she is, is to agree that it is something to hide, something wrong. She turned to Glavien, "Yeah I got a tail what of it?"

After his talk with the shipmaster, John realized that these mercs could become of value. They were expendable, unlike imperial personnel.
On the 500th floor, there was the bar and some recreational places, as well as training facilities. John sat by a bench near the training facilities, accompanied by his assistant as usual.
"Hand me the files on the new mercs, they might be actually be useful here."
Rean took out a small laptop from her briefcase and passed it over to him.
"All the profiles of the 3 have been transferred from the fleet mainframe to here, the mainframe wasn't too keen on their resumes and told me to remind you that mercs weren't to be trusted."
"I know that, tell her to dig for more information and keep her cameras on them."

Xaris yawned. he couldnt figure out hwat to do. he picked up his bottle of sake and walked to the elevator. he was planning to sneak onto the bridge and figure out what system the ship was heading to.

[Monoxx]

"Now I remember! Yo, dudes, come with me, I need a drink, and probably you too. Floor 500!" said Matt, entering the elevator. "I'll pay! You got to see me singing!" he added, and closed the door.

"Hold that elevator please!"
Rean came sprinting down the corridor, surprisingly she wasnt floowing around Lenos.
She slowed her pace down and stepped inside the elevator, then pressed the button for level 208.

It seems as though they haven't detected Dirk yet. The faction was right. War was declared. The Solarians did send many ships. There was important dignitaries from the Solarians on this ship. The one thing they hadn't told him was that there would be this many soldiers and commanders on this ship.

*Flashback*
"So you will join us?" asked the faction leader.
"Only if you keep your promise. If I find out that you betray me, I'll destroy you're pathetic group." replied Dirk.
"You can trust me. Just make sure you get on one of the large ships. I have some men in the lesser ranks of the miitary, but the officers may be on to them. If this works, we may destroy the Solarians."
*End Flashback*

'That fool better be right about this. I'm guessing his men aren't on this ship. It seems to be every soldier but the lowest ranks. Oh well, if I accidently kill one or two of his men it's no big deal.' thought Dirk. 'Now to find who's in charge of this ship.' And with that Dirk started searching the ship from the shadows. He was only on the fifth floor, not finding another way to go up higher than this floor than for the elevator yet. He didn't want to risk being seen yet. If only he could find a vent or something.

Rigth before Xaris pressed the "up" button on the elevator door, the door opened and in it stood Matt. "ah, geez." Xaris said, placing his hand on his sword's hilt.

Dirk finally found his way up to the 100's, which appeared to be the common soldier bunkers. 'Maybe I can find a soldier in full armor that I can use as a disguise.' he thought. He searched for a while, and finally found what appeared to be some guard for a commander sleeping. Dirk quietly and efficiently eliminated the guard, he used his bare hands to snap the neck as to not get blood or its scent on the armor. He then hid the body in a garbage chute and made his way to an elevator. His only fear now was that he would press the wrong floor and be found out.

[Raldios]

"Nothing really, I'm just suprised to see someone with a tail. Even though the universe is so big, I have yet to see someone with a tail before this." Glavien said "What did matt tell you about this job that he offered you?"

Will looked up and said, "I was at the bar down planetside, and Matt saw my powered-armor outside as he walked in." The pilot paused "He asked me about it, I told him it was mine, and he asked if I'd like to join the winning side of the war, AKA you guys. I accepted, and here we are."

Glavien replied
"Winning side? We haven't had our first battle of the war!"

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Yeah, but you forget he's an idiot." Will said chuckling. "He probably thinks whichever side he's on wins automatically."

[King]

"I saw him talking to your boss then him mention that he was looking for help so I took the chance to do something important on a cosmic scale"

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Not to make this sound treasonous but, "cosmic scale"? If the Solarian Empire hasn't even been in a battle yet.. pffft." Will said amused

[King]

"If one doesn't want to achive greatness, they never will."

'Finally, the elevator arrives. What took it so god damn long?' Dirk thought as he got in. He soon got his answer, hundreds of floors. It shocked him because, though the ship may have been big, it didn't seem that big. 'I suppose the first place to look for who's in charge should be the top floor. If only I had a map of this damn ship…' The elevator began to go up.

[Raldios]

"What?" Glavien questioned "The meeting to declare war ended an hour ago!"

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Yes, but you had people from all the different factions in the meeting area correct? You could've, oh I don't know, started the fighting there?" Will said annoyed. He really wanted to get back to the Icarus and patch it up.

[King]

"And we still haven't done anything! A battle is won before it begins; we need to set traps and infiltrate their defences," Lilith's pre-battle actions were very important since she gets into a rage when she starts real fights.

[Mr.McSpiff]

"Don't forget the possibility of spies from every faction infiltrating each other." Will said giving a glance to Lilith. "Not why don't we stop flapping our mouthes, and do something productive?"

[King]

"Exactly! Enough talk, I need some action!" for once, Lilith was eager for battle, this time she would accually be fighting for something.

[Monoxx]

"Hey pal! How are you!" said Matt when he faced Xaris. "I see you're leaving the bar. Why? Stay and have a drink with me! We already won this war, with people such as yourself and mainly myself! Come on, I'll pay!"

Matt hated to drink alone. He never knew what happen to his body when he is.. incapacitated.

After trying a few floors, Dirk came to one that appeared to be the bridge. He noticed someone who was obviously one of the top ranking officers on the ship talking to two people that didn't seem to quite fit in. Both were obviously not soldiers, and one even had a tail. 'Perharps they need mercs because their own military is lacking. Oh well, better try to stay inconspicuous until the time is right to strike.' he thought to himself.

(Again, the armor is a 7 foot tall powersuit. He takes it off when he's in a building or doing non combat things such as, One: it has no hands, only a laser and claw, and Two: It is too big to fit through most doors... Thank you for reading this information provided for your convenience.)

"what'll ya have?" the bartender asked.
"nothing for me. get a couple beers for my friend here." Xaris replied. Xaris was planning to get Matt drunk so he could get some answers as to what ship this was, and who was in charge.

"What? Nothing? C'mon! Bartender, a couple more beers and a scoth for my friend here. Glave will pay for everything!" Matt said, and he drank the first bottle. "So, how did ya get here? Cause mine is a pretty funny story..." he added, starting his second bottle.

"i only drink sake. two bottles at most. and i've drank them already earlier tonight." Xaris replied with a scowl. "anyway, im just a wandering swordsman. who is this Glav guy anyway?"

[Monoxx]

"Well, bring him some sake then! I can have that scoth. He? He is what I could call my only friend here. Great guy. He is a big officer, you know. Like, in charge of many ships. Hes a great guy, never minds when I charge my spendings to him." Matt said, starting his third bottle. "Could ya do me a favor? Watch I dont do anything stupid. I hate what happens when I get drunk."

[Mr.McSpiff]

Will looked at Glaiven and sighed, "If you'll excuse me, I'd like to go make some repairs and modifications on the Icarus." Will didn't even wait for him to respond, and went back to the hangar.

The pilot looked around, before entering the Icarus and securing the airlock. He opened a heavily-secured channel to the Rivier base on (insert planet name) that was nearby, "This is Will, I'm on an Imperial ship and have found a potential ally. Will update when possible, and return to base ASAP."

Will turned off the comm and looked around again, before exiting the ship and started making the Icarus worthy of the title "space-ship".

Lenos was in the training facilities, in one of the shooting ranges.
His modified plasma pistol served him well for the past year and hopefully it would do the same this year.
"Rean, can you pass th..."
As he turned around as to finish his sentence, he realized that she wasnt there. She'd gone to fetch the stuff he needed 20 minutes ago. He felt so acustomed to her following him around that it felt so automatic that she would be always near him.
"Oh well..."

Rean, after retrieving all the files needed, entered the bar for some refreshments for the Justicate. She walked to the bartender and politely said
"A bottle of red wine please, preferrably a 10 year old one from the trident system."
The barternder smiled at her as he passed the unopened bottle, she was a well known face around here, the one that follows Justicate Lenos around everywhere. Without her he wouldnt be as half as organised as now, it was also her that prepared all his notes for him. Though no one knew if she could even fire a standard rifle, all she did was secretary work for the Justicate.

beta turned off his cloaking device outside of of the shooting range. he walked up to johnothan
"sir reporting. I've watched the mercs as ordered I havent noticed anything to bad the swordsman is in the bar and the pilot was in his ship I dont know what he did in there but I'm not too concerned. I lost the rest of them...I'm sorry sir I will exept my punishment now."
