Just curious...
How often do you try new comics?
What was the last new (to you) comic you tried?
Did you like it?
Why?
This is the test...grrr

I always try new comics as often as I can. What draws me to comics though is good art so I usually don't check out a whole lot.(since Buzzcomix has been done) The last one I checked was "Blue Crash Kit" and I don't think I'm gonna be checking out anymore for a while... :wtf:

Whenever I hear about one, I check it out.

Yeah....uh, about that.
I'm one of the head mods over there...what happened was this: The service provider for mneonix (the alias of the guy who runs it all...) up and decided when while he was away in another country for a month, to go ahead and decide that the scripts he was using were too large.
So, in short, they shut it down.
He just recently got back a few days ago.
er...anywho...let the thread continue!

The last Webcomic I tried was actually "Superkitties" which is one the best webcomics I have ever read in my life.
Out of simple curiosity when will Buzzcomix come back up?

The last comic I tried was Bunny, because one of my friends from the Hateatron (DO NOT GO THERE. WE WILL DESTROY YOU) reccomended it.
I usually try new comics based on if I've heard good things.

I just started reading Bunny and The Perry Bible Fellowship yesterday! I was sick, so I stayed home and read most of the Bunny comics and all of the PBF ones.
I usually check out new comics when I am bored. If the some of the most recent ones are good, I'm usually hooked.

I don't tend to "try" any really. However, everytime someone sends me a "z0mg link X-changez!!!2" email, I will go and give it a quick browse.
Sadly, it's usually fucking crap. Then again, there is the odd one or two every year that happen to be excellent, but that is a rare occurance indeed.
...Actually, during our recruitment period for Teh Gewd Guys I got a chance to read a lot of comics I wouldn't have otherwise. A lot of them were really brilliant. Some awesome ones got in (ie: http://beaverandsteve.com/) and some other awesome ones sadly didn't (http://rumblo.com/).
So yeah. There.

the Hateatron (DO NOT GO THERE. WE WILL DESTROY YOU)
Don't go there huh?
Now you got my curiousity perked.
Oh, and I usually try out new webcomics as I see them as Balto said, I get attracted by the art usually.
The newest one I just checked out (or am checking out now as of this post) is Fur Will Fly.
That Cyber Fox guy posted it in the Webcomics section for those who are curious.

So you read KC Green's stuff too, eh?
Where is he anyway, didn't he used to come to the VGCats forums?

hehehe :P
Every few days I try a new comic. If I see a link for a comic I haven't heard of before and it sounds interesting, or someone recommends something, I usually check out at least a few pages. The most recent new comics I looked at were Shifters, Ice, and Demonology, but none of them really impressed me.
btw- I like your icon, Revarien XD It reminds me of all the Jane fans that were wearing those hats at CN last year.
It's really random for me. Sometimes I'll be introduced to a comic that is absolutely fantastic, but then I won't go back to it for ages, until out of the blue I decide to check it out again, and read through the entire archive in a night or three.
Sometimes I'll follow j-random webcomic plug from a web forum like this. Sometimes I'll click on an interesting looking advertisement on another webcomic that I'm already reading.
The problem is, between having a life, a full time job, and my own webcomic, there's not much time left to read all that many ongoing webcomics. As a result, there's only a few I follow regularly, and a few more that I tend to visit once every few months and catch up on the archives.
When I'm at home and on my computer I tend to spend most of my time working in Photoshop. If a webcomic looks good and releases a book version, I'm more likely to pick up the book and read it when I'm not at home.

Time is at such a premium for me, I usually don't get around to trying new comics very often. If I come across a lot of people saying how much they like something, that will sometimes get me to take the plunge.

I check out a new comic every now and then, but rarely do I get too into it. With plot driven stories, one has to go into the process of reading the entire backlog and it just takes so much time. I think the newest comic I've gotten into was Real Life about a month ago(which I knew about for a long time, just never visited), and even then, I just read the new ones - I haven't gotten into his backlog.

I might.. MIGHT check the comics that are featured on the other ones I read regularly. But mostly I dont even bother reading other comics. Especially ones that have a long storyline.

I feel exactly the same.. I don't like story driven comics (Mega Tokyo is the #1 I don't like) as you have to wait for the update to figure out what happens next and its just boring... I'm really a fan of funny comics, nothing else honestly. I like the adventure ones but I like to have some comedy in it. I tend to read as many comics as I can.
