8:00ish A New Beginning

It all starts at 8:12, sides the fact that I was suppose 8:00 isnt important. Getting to the door was a massacre enough, thought I would drown in the amount of people that poored from the store. Immediatly I was grabbed by a guest who wanted two of those video game rocker chairs for her sons to enjoy. A nice patient woman, and thats good cause in the process of retriving these rocker chairs I got grabbed by 12 other crabby assholes that just focused on me, me, motherfucking me bitch. The same bullcrap continued up til nine.

At the time 9:00 rolled around the phrase sold out became well damn heard. I contantsly was crossing items off my ad trying to keep up with what was left. Jensen clock radio, sold out. Air hockey table, sold out. Kodak 6.1 camera, sold out. And it continued on ward there was bound to be X marks on every page if not more. Then team lead Joanna, comes with new tasks!

9:10 Side Objective.
Fill endcap with stupid art easel thing. Complete

Well that only took like two damn seconds. Huzzah. *floats about helping others*

So I get stuck in the back pulling things down just to be sold in a few seconds. Trufully I rather be out there but meh this lasted a til 11:30.

I said fuck Black Friday and went to the beach. After being forced to and experience work in a retail store on that day I will never go of my own free will.

I went out on Black Friday for two Reasons:

Exchange my DS (Fuck YOU Dead Pixel)
Get a Different USB Jump Drive (PNY Makes shitty Plastic ones)

Now, the USB Drive was on sale at Best Buy for about $30. So It went like this:

Best Buy: Sold Out.
Office Max: Sold Out.
Wal-Mart: Only had 1 GB Models.
Circuit City: Sold Out.

So, kinda giving up, we went to this nice little Plaza where Grandpa gets his Fish Fry. Radioshack was just near there, so I took a look inside.

And There it was.

On the shelf, behind the counter. Bad thing is that it was $10 more than what I was looking to spend. I got it anyways.

As for the DS, we got it exchanged, and don't see any dead pixels so far...

And just for the hell of a tale, there was a kid in EBGames (Had to trade in a game to get the rest of the money for the Drive) who looked, and kind of sounded like that fat kid from bad Santa. Except that when he would talk, it was Whiney. Very, very, Whiney. First he whined about getting Killzone (PSP). Then, he raised the roof with the PSP case. I got the hell out of there ASAP.

And thats my Tale of Black Friday. This all happened around 4:30 PM, because this guy don't do mornings.

Went to Target to get the newish Weird Al CD only to find that they were selling all four 24 box sets for only $10 each... Yeah, I bougth them all.

After the fifteen I walked around and did non-important stuff. Then the first boss fight!!
Impatient woman: Sir, I've been waiting for five mins for help, this store is losing its quality fast.
Ghost: Umm how can I help?
Impatient woman: Just point me to where the Santa suits are."
Ghost:Uhh... we dont carry Santa Suits.
Impatient woman:"What?! You mean I came all the way down here to have some punk ass kid tell me that this store doesnt carry frekin suits"
Ghost:"Well whatever gave you that idea? We never did in the past"
Impatient woman:"I called ahead and was also on hold for a good bit, Im want to see a damn manager right now!"
Ghost:"Just head up to Guest Services and you'll get your chance. Have a nice day"
Impatient woman:"Fuck you."

Well she sure was a Wolf Pup saint. I continue my duties and help more people.. some with similar attitudes. >_> This town rawkz. Upon 3:00 I took my lunch

3:30 Operation: Grab that Damn Check!

I made my journey to the front, which was a hell of a long one. Everytime you have a priority to get to, people make sure to seek you out. Everyone found me and starting giving me questions, and team leads keep shoving their tasks on me cause they didnt wanna do it. Anywho I got to the office at 3:58. Huzzah I get paid in tens! With the final half, I just floated around doing mindless tasks.

7:31: Grab random sets of clothing out of closet
7:36: Realize that I have been carrying clothes around all over house; put clothes on
7:38: Get in car and formulate genius plan to enter town via farm/minor roads.
7:51: Enter city limits and realize prior plan completely unnessecary.
7:59: Arrive at destination (a radio station), conduct business (pick up two CDs), leave establisment
8:30: Arrive back at house; sit on couch to watch the Texas Tech/A&M game; fall asleep.
Noon - on: Awake from nap; play games

And so ends my enthralling tale of Black Friday, 2006.

3:20-5:00am: Wait in line at Walmart
5:00-6:15am: Enter, pay and leave Walmart
6:20-7:30: Raid Target and then leave
7:45-on: go home to install/build/configure all things that require it and then sleep.
