Why are you not playing this game yet? You're missing out on the sleeper hit of 2005.
http://psychonauts.com/
You can download a demo there in the Grey Matter area of the site.
It's out on Xbox and PC and soon PS2.

I was thinking Phantom Dust might be the sleeper hit of 2005, being a budget title and no one knowing what it is. But Psychonauts is a freakin great game, not a budget title, has gotten a lot of press before, and yet no one knows about it. The pc version is $20 cheaper than the x-box one right now. So get this game right now!

I might get it once I get a better graphics card since I own a GC. Fugging GeForce4... Looks pretty good and I'm a sucker for platform games, especially with good voice acting.

Not getting this until my birthday, as I don't own an Xbox or a worthy computer. I've been looking forward to this game for years.
Loved the demo. Planning on getting the full. I guess for my PC since my Xbox has enough games as it is. :nyah:

A suggestion to the potential PC players: Buy a gamepad or an adapter for your console controller.

Wow, I loved this game, I've already beaten it 2 times! I wish there were some unlockables though Beat to 100% and you unlock a video. Not to mention all the special videos/view finder shows you unlock just by collecting everything in a level (like all the figments).

June I think.... June 21st says EBgames website. Though I must say, the PS2 version is a considerable downgrade from the Xbox and PC versions. Poo on you emotion engine.
Speaking of Psychonauts, I just played through Full Throttle (another Tim Schafer game) this morning. I recommend anyone who has the ability to pick it up (http://attr-search.ebay.com/full-throttle_Games_PC_W0QQa14Z24223QQalistZa14QQcatref ZC12QQfromZR8QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQgcsZ1135QQpfidZ1413 QQpfmodeZ2QQsacatZQ2d100). I'll even teach you how to set it up to play it on Windows XP.

Haven't seen it myself. I know it has to do with Mr. Pokeylips. It shows Mr. Pokeylopes and Shegore at the lakeside talking. Then Linda shows up and we find out that she and Mr. Pokeylopes had a little thing going on with eachother before she was mutated. I don't remember the exact lines, but it was mildly amusing.

The spanish word for wrestling, lucha libre, translates to free for all.
Also, I have the PC version which I just beat and I haven't had much problems using a keyboard and mouse. It takes a while to get used to it.
I also like the song and dance Raz picked up from Bobby.

Yeah, I liked that song and dance too.
I relly hope they make a sequal to this game, it just has so many good characters and such a great plot to not finish the story.

I'm playing through it for the first time on my X-box. This game is amazing. I love the twisted humor. So far my favorite levels (minds) are Lungfishopolis and The Milkman conspiracy (really enjoyed it despite the bit of trouble it gave me).
Edit: Just beat it. The meat circus was rather disturbing. God I love this game! Now to go back to a previous save and get all the figments/baggage/webs/etc..

The game needs a sequel, I mean they just set it up at the end. I also like how the Psychojet's propulsion system is telekinesis.
