Right now it's absolutely nothing to write home about and it's very bare bones minimum. And in the NDA it says "talk with close friends and family" and I think I can consider you guys close friends

I already see one major problem Home, there WILL be people saying "LOL WII IS 4 KIDS IT R STOOPID!" and "360 R FAIL CUZ IT HAV NO GAMES LAWL."

You know thats ok if you like one console more than others, but really, bragging and making fun of it just to express your not like for it is just stupid, and making up shit is worse, I have seen this on PS3 related forums online in PS3 games and such.

They are just in Denial as 360 and Wii are doing better.

You realize that 360 fans say the same things about the other two systems and Wii fans about the other two systems right? It's not like PS3 fans are unique in this. And why does that matter in regards to Home?

Ya I know we do but when I go online on like Halo 2 or somethin, when I say "Anyone here own PS3" I usually get "Na' never really liked PS3." or "meh, I think ps3 is kinda dumb." not "Hark PS3 r gai!" as a response. Why is it a big deal? When I ask to play a game I dont wanna here some jerk bashing the 360 or Wii, a few PS3 forums that I have gone on actually had threads for bashing other consoles. Im not Saying PS3 fans are unique about this, its just a lot of the console bashing I hear comes from them.

Gotta DP, PSP only lets me type a certain ammount, anyways im not saying that all home users will be like this just that you will encounter some Console bashers who are like that, and that "Some" could be a pain in the ass.
I just really hate cosole bashers I like and own all the consoles, why can't we stop the stupid Console Wars and such deciding what consoles are the best, let those who enjoy their consoles enjoy them without the Media saying whats better, cant we all get along?

I like the idea of meeting up with people in an environment like Home and all jumping straight from there into a game, is that an option, or is it a planned feature for future releases?

Basically, is it more than a graphical chatroom with a few minigames like pool?

It's kind of like The Sims only with limited customization. You can customize you're personal apartments / homes, which are kind of like the Private Chats with XBL. You invite people into it I'm assuming and in there you can chat and talk and play mini games, then decide which games you'd like to play online and go to them from there.

Been playing the BETA and I'm having fun. It's silly and... Truly something "unimportant" in the general spectrum of things. But there is always that cool feeling of making something similar to you (or just funny in general) and playing around with and chatting with friends.

well im sitting on the fence on this. its fun and all but sofar to me, Home is like real life. i got to wait in line to bowl with my friends, wait to play them in chess, need real money to buy cloths. (i can't use the ones that i drawn). well it looks pretty and such. but took way to long even if this is a beta to only have this open to the people. i cant even launch any games with a group. let alone make a group chat so i don't have to hear or read the endless comments of people asking my friends "Naked pics please" and "how old are you".

to me its like walking in a mall. lots of people but more then 95% of the time you don't want to talk to them.

and really just cause i know i don't make write things all the clear here a list with my pros and cons of this open beta:

Pro:
make your own living space
Make your own charater
invite people over to your in game place
being able to walk around a virtual world and do stuff like in real life
play some nice free mini games
more to add a bit later

con:
well right now have trouble launching PS3 games for people to join in like LBP
the filter suck big time because words like hello come up as ****o
no respect for other people
having to wait to play games like in real life for more then a fue min

well they posted more cloths to buy on the Home open beta. (i bet most people who play it know of it) still no real items that i would spend money on in there. if there was a way to maybe put games inside my home that wwould be something i would buy.
