Nope, he's still the merc with the mouth.

In every issue of Cable and Deadpool so far there has been one splash page scene in which Deadpool can be seen to have killed dozens of people. And he of course is providing hilarious running commentary whilst doing it.

He joined the X-Men officially for half an issue, even got his own X-man uniform...before he shot Wolverine in the back (on a whim no less).

Funny stuff.

You guys do realise that artists are REGULARLY brought in and out through out the coarse of a comic. I ean, look at any comic. It is like they change artists every 2-3 comics.

So, why are you complaining about that after finding out Deadpool is back?

Um from what I understand from the article, they are planning on doing this as a long run, similar to Wolverine origins. I would expect a bunch of comics with that style.

Its nice and all, but its not like just because I'm not happy overall, its not like I lose the right the bitch. Also its not like he left or anything.

From what i was reading, the writer wants to keep Deadpool as isnane and goofy as he can while still being a bad ass.

Deadpools best was the Mithras era, with Tiamat. Seriously, when Weas was his sidekick that never really met up with him, and wade was keeping blind al was brilliant, because he was funny, but he was still kinda scary. [like when al and weas got into his house and he freaked out because two people he knew met each other which was unnacceptable]

Now hes pretty watered down compared to how he used to be, its kinda a shame, all the Cable Deadpool stuff is so weak compared to his old series. Its still good, but he was so much better. All the new stuff is dragging his old books ideas back trying to reach those heights again. [bringing back weas and T-Ray]

Hes still enjoyable though, put Priest back on the book guys! He wrote awesome!

The look is Wolverine, but alot of the stuff he does when Deadpool is there, is through Deadpools mind. So alot of the times in the comic Wolverine would be shown wearing a funny hat, or shrieking in terror, though it's all just from Deadpools mind.

Well, just took a look at Cable and Deadpool 50. Gotta say....

Loved it. Even though many of the heroes don't care much for him, a few of them, if not most (in the battle) accepted him as one of them.

Bout time Deadpool was given a happy ending!
