It leaves out words that are either too short or too common. Rather justified, but it also pretty much ignores quotation marks, which, together with above, is rather unconventional: There could be threads about something like "You me is be", and it'd find exactly zero.
You get my point.

I don't actually think there's a way to fix that unless vBulletin releases a patch for it.

There is probably a hack.

Probably but I've seen this forum implode on itself before.

Totally not my fault.
I wasn't aware people used the search

If I want to find a particularly old thread, or make a new one and see if there's one about it already. Is cool.
Yeah, I'd love the search feature if it actually worked worth a damn.
It's great for searching for posts that contain specific words, like searching to see when a certain band was mentioned. That works fine.
But if I search for a thread, and type in the name of a video game, even if the thread is named exactly the same thing I typed in, the thread will be like on the 3rd or 4th page, with far less relevant threads appearing on the 1st page.

Search in thread titles only perchance?

Learn2Search I suppose...
Cuz well, I'm not risking hacks due to their history with this forums, and otherwise the only hope we have is a vBulliten update.
