I don't really think this game has any bad weapons and is pretty balanced, but there might be several things I don't think about right now.

I do however enjoy using the smartlock pistols as light and the basilisk as heavy. I rarely play as medium.

Seems really neat so far. Meatspace combat has a nice fast-paced and mostly close-range feel to it that I prefer, and the maps have a nice sense of progression.

In almost all the maps the corp objective is stay close to the blue dot and blow rebels up until the time is up. You also need to protect the cyberspace but that's complicated and makes my head hurt.

Cyberspace isn't always necessary, but it can really fuck over the Corps by doing things like unlocking doors or changing the targeting of automated turrets. A good hacker can win it for your team.

I made a guy "Holy shit" when I mentioned that the last time I played there was no such thing as Green ICE. Apparently they brought that in like two years ago.
That made me laugh for some reason.

Plus, sometimes there ARE Cyberspace objectives. Generally the decker is just there to pop open doors and confuse turrets and shit, but occasionally you will have to do things like escort one of the squishy bastards into enemy territory and watch his back while he blows their spawn up or whatever.

This is all, of course, irrelevant if you play a walking tank with a minigun for an arm.

Today I played on a french server.
It was considerably shittier than the American server I played on last night with Comment and all the other nerds. Whereas on the American server I had no problems whatsoever with lag (despite being at 130+ ping at all times), on the French server I suffered regular and horrific lag spikes, completely debilitating me when I was about to, say, shoot a cloaker in the face, or capture the spawn for the punks.

In addition, the community was comparatively awful; in three or four maps, I had abuse screamed at me for being a minigun Heavy because it was 'skill-less shit', and then got in an argument with an incredibly irritating lisping German over me blocking him. For reference; he was standing at the top of the only route to a mission critical objective, firing grenades at an open door ten feet away. And missing. While I was trying to navigate past his ass, a punk popped his head out the door and shot me in the face with a grenade, killing me instantly (but not the fag blocking). He then bitches at me for about five minutes before switching to speaking loud German about me interspersed with phrases like 'noob', because being able to speak German automatically makes you a superior human specimen. I've heard that viewpoint before somewhere, but I forget who said it.

Hypothesis: Everything from France is fucking horrible.

Yesterday I played as heavy in a server, some bastard keep saying "Axon you suck at Heavy, change to medium or something". I kept playing as heavy and he said "Axon you dumb ass, change to medium, you suck at heavy".

And at the of the round I got Best Heavy award, best using the minigun and the thermal vision award.
