My Chemical Romance is a sort of candy rock band with depth. Like they took the basic elements of emo and candy punk and put them together. Surprisingly good stuff as long as you only take it at face value. Also they're painfully stylish.

It's one of those songs that gets played a -lot- on TV and radio, so, being the fool that I am, I had assumed that everyone had heard it before.
More to the point, I should clarify that Kansas sort of became progressive rock in it's development and helped define the genre. When they started out, they were just rock music. Classic stuff.
It's not your fault. I suppose I just need to come to terms with the fact that a vast ocean of good music exists well outside the knowledge of most people. And a lot of that music is getting rehashed by modern acts.
Sort of like "Boys of Summer" was written by Don Henley, "Love Song" was written by the Cure, and "Take my Breath Away" was written by Berlin.

Ah I see, sorry I don't watch a lot of TV or listen to a lot of radio, I spend most of my time looking up bands online. I've only really touched on progressive, with Tool and Dream Theater. I went to the Kansas site but left after a few minutes because I had to go, but they look good, I like it when rock acts use violins, I'll look into them.

Now there's a band I don't get tired of hearing. Sure their stuff gets a bit repetitive, but songs like this, where the style sounds vaguely African or Eastern, really have something special going for them.

the songs called Beastman and Skeletor that shit is soooo funny. Here ill give you some lyrics.
"Then take your drawers off, and work your legs open your ass up like a keg... let me tap it. I must have it mmm! Furry fool you are mine ill drink your ass like wine. And when semen pours all over you head you know you must be dead. Skeletor i know you groove and shake it so damn good and when you cum on my fur hood ill give you a piece of ?wood?. You furry fool i know and i wont disagree. Oh no i dont know which way to run then. Dont worry skeletor your pants are on fire my cock will burn my cocks on fire for more DICK! You know skeletor. Yes my head is so goddamn thick. No brain in side just a lot of fucking fur and if i rip it off youll find a boy and call him purr."
Ahh and my favorite:
"Ive got aids... beastman aids and ill spread it into every good boy and girl today. Watch me give you cum stains in your fucking drawers! Beastman watch your mouth! We dont need that language anymore!"
