So I've got this new comic.

It's about a guy named Ben. And Ben, he lives in Templar, which doesn't exist, and which is in Arizona, but not the Arizona you're probably thinking of. This is a slightly irregular Arizona that fell off the back of a truck somewhere, and now all the power outlets are a weird shape and a couple of wars never happened.

Templar isn't a Gotham or a Metropolis. It's not a stand-in for a real town, and I'm pretty sure the spot on the map where I tend to place it is really a national park. So it's pretty much something unto itself. Something strange.

Twelve pages up so far, updates Thursdays, sketchbook section, all that stuff. Lemme know what you think.

I haven't had a chance to read it all yet (it's 4 am here), but I gotta say that your art style is TIGHT. I think I'm going to enjoy it.

Sepia-toning the pages probably takes just as much time as doing everything up full-color would, but I have plans in the future for printing this up, and I like to know I can reduce what I have to grayscale without everything turning to mud.

The bit with the guy on the phone just not shutting up was pretty good. We've all had conversations like that. I'm looking forward to reading more, learning more about these new characters.

The art is brilliant, I love it. The writing is pretty tight too. I hope this develops nicely.
