I doodled this. Tell me what you think. I assume it's fairly easy to figure out who it is.

I'll doodle Aeris later.

I actually liked seeing a Human version of Leo. Pretty cool. And I can argue with spawn.

That would be wierd to see Leo and Aeris both human in a comic by Scott. Good drawing though, I can't draw crap with Paint. And I agree with Spawn agreeing with Walrus.

Well it doesn't matter much. It works in either place. Besides, he was just showing off some art.

Speaking of making Aeris and Leo human, maybe that should be my next project! I've been trying to think of something cool to draw. :D

Yeah, I thought so. Don't ever remember Paint doing gradients and the lines didn't look like Paint lines either.

It looks to me like I've become the second topic of this thread, and I wouyldn't know anything about flash so I assumed it was Paint, which is why I agreed with Walrus Overlord,my best friend on Earth, yes I know him in real life.

Which version of Flash? Because if it's MX or MX2004, set the paint brush to a higher smooth rate, or smoothen out the lines more. with your eraser tool.

Gradients in flash != (that's computer for Not) your friends.
It can work, but you didn't get it.

You need to fix the shoes so that they'll actually look like shoes, not bein' mean, but they look more like...umm...notshoes...
He also seems to have zipperless pants.
The collar needs a back to it, although it could be goin' down, but I highly doubt that.
The neck is a bit off center, unless it's leanin' a bit forward, in which he needs to have his neck bent downward a bit.

The big thing about the picture that offsets me, are the ears. They're quite...large...it's proportional to the eyes and nose size, but hey, it's anime!

Yeah, those are what I see as the problems. Good effort, and keeps close to the character. Keep at it man.

I know the ears are proportional to the eyes and nose, but think about it, look at Leo's ears as a cat. As a human, I'm sure they'd still be pretty freakin big. As for the shoes, that's how I draw shoes, white shoes with red straps. Everything else, well, I have no excuse for.

Thanks for the tips.

Don't use gradients. It will make your drawings crappy looking. It also means that the guy who used gradients is lazy. Use it for eyes and other things where gradients are not very noticible.

Edit: Use gradients for small things in backgrounds like in Family Guy. Backgrounds are good for MODERATE use of gradients.

Okay. In most of my comics, I only use gradients for the pants and shirt. Everything else I cell shade, with the occassional exception of the hair. I was a gradient whore in that Leo sketch.

I know the ears are proportional to the eyes and nose, but think about it, look at Leo's ears as a cat. As a human, I'm sure they'd still be pretty freakin big. Yeah, it's proportional for bein' an anthro cat person character, I mean, that's just how cat peoples are done. But as a human it'd be the same as a normal human. If a mouse person had tiny mouse ears, he'd have tiny human ears, not normal ones. But in the logic you provided, me, that is not the case.

Not tryin' to be mean or argue, just explaining my point.

I see your point. Maybe seeing normal Leo with giant ears just compelled me to draw them huge.
