has anybody played the ocarina of time before?

A few week ago i was looking through my ninty magazines and found the best game ever made - the legend of zelda ocarina of time.
i got it from ebay and got reasonably far on it, now im stuck.
i desperatly need help from the start of the water temple.

Just so you know, EVERYONE has played Ocarina of Time. It's the best of the 3-D zelda games, and second best out of all of them.

And I'm not surprised you're stuck on the water temple, it's really difficult.

Yeah, i was stuck there for ages aswell. Must say the Dark Link Fight was superbly done. And for walkthroughs, Gamefaqs is your best shot. Just don't visit the forums if you value your sanity

Water Temple is where most people get stuck. And I agree about the mini-boss in Water Temple being the best.

Here's a hint to the Water Temple: When you change the water level, it also moves things that blocked access to areas when the water level was lower.

But yeah, OoT is my favorite... although the new one looks like it's gunning for that title...

ooh I loved this game and the Water Temple was my favorite part I got through it quite esily which shocked my friends so they would have me come over and help em' through it, but alas I no longer remember it T_T. the temple I had the most trouble with was the Forest temple....

Sorry, couldn't resist. Anyway, in case you want to know how to beat Dark Link, don't target him, just face him manually. It's harder for him to copy your moves then.

Dark Link is almost as cool as Regular Link. Almost.
And the Water Temple is an utter bitch.. Especially if you have a huge phobia about water in games, as I do. Heh.

I have a phobia of countdown timers. That includes breath meters >_<
