System of a Down's new cd/album (whatever you wish to call it is out) If you liked their first two (self-titled and Toxicity) then this should be on your list of music gets. Unless of course you hate the fact that Daron sings way too much for his own good. You may have already heard BYOB(Bring Your Own Bombs) or Cigaro. Both are on the cd as well as 9 other tracks all of which excellent in my opinion.

I also love question! its so damn awesome few words can describe it. However i disagree and think BYOB is good but it will most likely go the way of Aerials and become over played on the Radio. Which reminds me of RADIO/VIDEO, who are danny and lisa anyway? Also i recently discovered who Frankie Avalon and Jack Gilardi are.(From Old School Hollywood) Fankie avalon was an old musician, and Jack Gilardi was an old actor/director.

first off, they have had 3 albums before this, the s/t, Toxicity, and Steal This Album! The first half of this album is pretty average, up until "Cigaro", but once "Violent Pornograpghy" hits, there is not a song that I do not love.

Second best album this year, for me. I hope Hypnotize is just as good. "Radio/Video" is a good song, but Serj's yelling totally ruins it for me. The rest is pretty mint though.

I'm not a big fan of SOAD, I like a couple of their songs and I definitely don't DISlike them. I may look into their new album. What's the most accessable song on the album?

They aren't that bad...I like them cause they have a unique sound. Mezmerize isn't that bad, but they really need to work on their lyrics. They repeat way too much. And no more Daron singing lead or at least tone his voice down abit...its really not lead quality.

System Of A Down scores another hit. Even though Daron's tone as lead is a little funky, I still give it a 5 out of 5.

I knew about steal this album, I just didn't think too highly of it. I agree about daron singing too much, hopefully Serj will do more vocals and write more of the songs in Hypnotize. Does anybody know the name of the album Metro came on? I love that song. I wanna make my own system of a down's greatest hits album on a burn disc. Also does the younger person friendly version feature anything majorly different besides cutting out swears and pretty much all of Violent Pornography?

Metro was from the Dracula 2000 OST I think. That's a shame, because it was my favorite SOAD song by a mile. I wouldnt' say this is a 5 out of 5, but it is definatly a 4.

Yeah Metro was on the dracula 2000 OST, great song.
I like Mesmerize from Soldiers Side to Lost in Hollywood. Favorite tracks on the CD are Violent Pornography, Question!, Video/Radio, and Lost in Hollywood. Darons singing is a little strange in the first few track (especialy BYOB) but I think it starts to really lend to the later songs, anyway great CD in my opinon just a little short.

My top tracks are BYOB, Revenga, Cigaro, Violent Pornography and Old School Hollywood.

I wanna buy the cd so bad but I haven't got any money from my new job yet to buy it, but as soon as I can I'm gonna buy the one that comes with a free t-shirt! I love their music, I haven't not (double negative :wink: ) liked a song by them yet and I don't expect to either. I've always loved their music from the moment I heard them. I love B.Y.O.B., I love Cirgo, it makes me laugh. I can't wait for their next cd Hypatize(I probly spelled that wrong) in 6 months. I'm a die hard fan of them.

Looks like a number enjoy Violent Pornography. I can only describe it as "fun".
It's not often I like every song on an album. SoaD been the only band to shove that in my face. They're sound is also consistantly varried (aside from lyrics) so I never get tired of them albums or any song.

Hm, To be honest I hadn't given picking this one up much thought. Slipped under the radar for me. Must pick this up sometime tomorrow, see how it goes.
