I would for one like to see it come to the U.S. Seeing as the show was incomplete... I hate when they can't finish plots and such, unless it's a evil plan to make people see the movie.(instant money!) Sorry if I make little sense...

I'm afraid to read the manga for apparently it's storyline differs from the anime half way through. I just don't want to have two cool endings, not knowing which one would be better. :P

Your english is good enough, but please, please use the punctuation. And this isn't an IM so you can use whole words instead of the abbreviations like "u".

I have a feeling that somebody is going to do this anyways, but...
If that had been in it's original context instead of StarWars it might be more effective.
Anyway, if this show was cut in half I would enjoy it more. Currently it is far too... bipolar for my tastes. But that is just me. One of my freinds girlfreinds is working a full suit of armor like the younger brother wears. The helmit looks solid enough. Hopefully the rest turns out as well.

I think FMA rules and all, but it is only good as the manga, not the anime, the anime screws up the story line... If your really like the show, get the manga, so much better...

Full Metal Alchemist is just like Inuyasha in my eyes. It is vastly overrated. IT just lacks what Trigun and many other animes managed to deliver, along with it failing to hold me in for the duration of the series. The characters don't really grasp me, animation is good, though I've seen better, and overall I've seen this, seen that.
Before I start a flame war, remember, this is just my opinion, and I meant none of that towards any fans of the show.

How come some people are like the manga more? What does it have to offer over the anime? I'm quite curious to wether or not I should read it.

I agree with you on that, for the show, it just changes FMA too much, that is why I stopped watching the anime, it sucks, but the manga is actually good, and more worth the time, the story is so much different in the manga, I was surprised to find out what the president was, not going to give it away, and Lust, Greed(who is dead, thanks to the President), Glutton, and all of those guys, they are trying to make a philospher stone, but not to become human, that just ruined the storyline right there, but thats all I will say about that. Oh, and what you said about Inuyasha, I agree, I still watch the show, but it got horrible after a while, it was good at first, and also, TRIGUN RULES!!!!!

I took the liberty of scanning the 5th episode of the FMA manga just to show you how different it is compaired to the anime, this is the episode with Shou Tucker, the one that makes chimera's, it is much different than in the show...

And one thing that is MUCH better about the manga, is that Scar doesnt EVER help Ed, not ever! That is so much better than having Scar help Ed because Scar wants to kill all Alchemists... Despite the fact that he, too, is an alchemist, in a way...

Eh? Scar killed Nina... you mean Tucker didn't die there, he was dragged through the series and ended up turning himself into a Chimera. Thats the differance.

Another difference is thatit happensonly on the 5th episode, it isnt 3 years back like in the show, and the fact that it only happens in 1 episode, in the anime, I believe it stretched itself across more than 1 episode, if am remembering correctly... If you want, I can scan the 1st 4 up so I have 1-5...

Sorry, Al is not a robot, he and Ed tried to ressurect their mother with human transmutation but at the cost of creating something that wasnt human, Al lost his whole body and Ed lost his left leg. Then, as a quick plan to keep Al alive, Ed went to a suit of armour in the room and did a soul transmutation, losing his right arm, which his left leg and right arm were eventually replaced with automail. And when in the place where all the automail people are, I forget the name at the moment, Rush Valley or something, the people actually think that Al got a full body automail, even though it is just a soul animating a suit of armour... and how you could get a full body automail is beyond me... then you would be a robot...

Meh, I didn't read it completely through. I knew I should have read it all, it's always like that.
I also think the guy calling Al a robot is being ironic.

No, he said he has never seen the show, so I thought I would inlighten him about it a little, and his name might be reffering to Full Metal Panic or possibly Full Metal Jacket, so you cant judge it by the name... Either way, he isnt a robot... so just leave it at that...
I'd have to say that I've always liked fullmetal alchemist. I don't know if some people noticed this but the creator is a girl. And to me that's good. I mean all the other Manga/Anime (that I like) is by boys. And no I'm not into Shojo or whatever it may be called. Some of my friends think that it is to "Depressing". I think it's just more realistic. And also that Ed is not like ALCHEMY!!!!! And then it's fixed. Like some other anime *cough* Inuyasha *cough*. And that even your fav characters can be killed. And the only other manga/anime that I like that is by a girl is Saiyuki by Kazuya Minekura. :thumbsup:

No I don't like Rumiko Takahashi. But a long time ago when you could only get the series of Inuyasha off the internet I did. But then it got REALLY old. And I don't like people that try to get every cent out of an anime/manga they can. :iffy:
