I never looked into any of this before today.
I just got through watching all of the videos just a little while ago. The video corruption that happens when SlenderMan is starting to get close is the creepiest fucking thing, I swear.

If it was a more concealing and subtle mask it would be a shitton scarier than 'really white with black eyes/lips'.
