Oren Lavie = I think his voice added to the music is fucking AMAZING

or maybe stuff like The Hush Sound, I couldn't find any decent youtube videos of theirs to post up here but I'm guessing at least some of you guys should know them.

my music collection has fallen apart and I'm trying to rebuild it maybe with a bit of new music

Check out John Williams. No, not the guy who wrote the Star Wars and Superman themes; there's a classical guitarist by the same name. There aren't lyrics, but the music seems to me like it'd be right up your alley.

^ That's a live performance. The studio ones are fuller in the audio quality than this recording, obviously. But it's just to give you an idea.
